So why did you decide to move The Founder so late in the game?
Glasser: We moved The Founder for a very specific reason. The Jan 20 date is a much better date. The Olympics look like they are tracking to be much bigger, and we would have been opening on the opening night weekend of the Olympics. This is a tour de force performance by Michael Keaton and he should be heavily into the Oscar and Golden Globe races for the movie. And thirdly, when you look at Suicide Squad and how it’s tracking, we made a very smart decision between that and the Olympics to move the movie. Everybody was fully supportive. ‘Suicide Squad’ on Target for $115 Million Debut, Shattering August Box Office Record
Warner Bros. supervillain movie is tracking to easily top “Guardians of the Galaxy” record
Warner Bros.’ supervillain mash-up “Suicide Squad” is poised for a $100 million-plus opening on August 5, according to early tracking figures.
That would make David Ayer‘s DC Comics movie the first August release to top $100 million in its opening weekend and shatter the August record set by Disney-Marvel’s “Guardians of the Galaxy,” which opened at $94.3 million in 2014.
Some prognosticators set the first weekend of the Warner Bros. film, starring Will Smith, Margot Robbie and Jared Leto, as high as $120 million, with the current estimate averaging approximately $115 million.

I haven't seen any reviews yet, but I'm sure they will start to show soon
I wonder if we'll hear any spin off news for SS.
The studio is already looking far into the potential franchise's future: with a sequel already reportedly greenlit, alongside news Harley Quinn may front a female-led ensemble film, Warner Bros. is now considering further spin-off options."The Joker is a definite possibility for a spinoff, and Jared [Leto] seems up for it from what I’ve been told. They’re also really hot on Jai Courtney’s character Boomerang right now. Nothing’s set in stone yet, but you’re definitely going to be seeing a lot more of these guys in the years to come."
