I doubt it. Transformers for example was a roller coaster. Some made more money than others. I get what you're saying though. Marvel films for example is decreasing in terms of multiplier. Each tent pole film is making less.

Could all change though once the reviews come pouring in. That's why these predictions are pretty useless. So I'd save the laughs until release.

Most people loved the first Transformers though. DCEU doesn't have that goodwill yet, and so far has just been capitalising on the names Batman and Superman to make money.

Yes Marvel is a great example of how establishing goodwill with the audience boosts profitability in the long term.

Well the Nolan Batman films all had ridiculously high scores. Justice League won't get a good score, but this and WW have a decent chance.

Marvels Avengers >>>AOU>>>Civil War. In terms of box office.

^ Superhero fatigue starting to effect it. Which is part of the reason Justice League will never make Avengers money. That and the fact that they refuse to build up to it with solo films.

Wb/dc is still on pace to make more at the box office for the first 10 films. If SS does break out, then DC/WB will be far in the lead. Wonder Woman is also expected to break 100 million opening weekend. Pretty insane.

As far as releasing quality material, They've yet to release an above-average film for their movieverse. So let's hope Suicide Squad will be there first above-average film.
