Dragon Ball Z: Revival of "F"

Heard that Frieza is going to slaughter Bills in combat. Don't know if this is true. After that, heard he is heading to earth to get his revenge on Goku. If this is true and Goku wins (don't see how), I guess that means Goku became far more powerful than Bills.

I've been keeping my eye out on all info related to this film, and I've not seen that so much as alluded to on any reputable site, by any reputable source.

Until that changes, I'm just going to write-off what you just said as myth. Not saying it won't happen, but it certainly hasn't been mentioned as of now.

On that note, a few lines of in-film dialogue from Masako Nozawa(the Jap voice of Goku) and Ryūsei Nakao(the Jap voice of Freeza) has been released on 2ch:

Translation:
Freeza: "In order to get my revenge on you people, I preformed what they call 'training' for the first time. This time I'll go at full power right from the start."

Goku: "You would have made a good rival if you hadn't been such a bad guy."

Freeza: "Is it really alright for you to not become Super Saiyan?"

Goku: "Now, I no longer need to."

Wait a minute...Frieza became that powerful due to training? That's ridiculous.

That is what the dialogue suggests, yes.

This better not be a good fight, at all. What kind of training can Frieza do that Goku himself hasn't done. Goku trains every freaking day so the months or yrs of training Frieza has done shouldn't put him anywhere close to Goku...especially god level Goku.

Technically Freeza shouldn't have even been able to train at all, as it has been well-established that an evildoer doesn't keep their body when they die.

...But perhaps Sorbet and Tagoma's wish will iron-out that inconsistency somehow. Dunno. I'm just really, really hoping there's more to his power increase than *just* training--I mean, not even Goku got to where he is by *just* training.

Considering that Akira Toriyama wrote the damn thing, that should be enough proof right there. Naho Oishi and Akira Toriyama wrote Episode of Bardock, as well as Akira Toriyama directing it.

(...)or Freeza has been through the jailhouse workout regime all the way past SS3 levels (If what I hear about his true form stalemating current base Goku is correct, throw this one out).

Guess its thrown back in.

We know that Akira has written out SS forms for Goku due to his base form getting stronger, but how powerful is his base now?

Does he even have a base form now?

The trailer showed him in his first form

He wasn't powered up in his god form though. It was part of him which is the reason I asked that. He shouldn't have a base anymore. Well, a base like the one that we know of.

I'm not sure why, if Goku's base and SS1 forms were fighting on par, that he would later need to return to SSG. I mean Bills did say the god-ki was still within him. Was it only to absorb the attack?

Thought you were talking about Frieza. My bad

After he initially acquired Godly ki, Goku inadvertently absorbed that realm/level of power into his person. That's how he was still able to contend quite well with Beerus in his base form, even after the initial 'God-amp' timed out. That, in conjunction with the dialogue I posted above, definitively tells us that he now has access to his full spectrum of power, as a base-level Saiyan(not unlike Mystic Gohan.)

In other words, Goku looking like this:

...Was most likely a one-time deal.

That being said, SSJG wasn't intended to be a permanent amp at all. Much like fusion, SSJG was only supposed to last a very short duration of time before Goku reverted back down to his normal level. Shenron clearly stated this during his exposition speech:
Shenron: "The [Super Saiyan God] easily defeated the evil Saiyans with his immense power. But he then vanished as quickly as he came, as the energy the Saiyans had offered him could not last for long."

That's why even Beerus himself was amazed that Goku was able to retain said power:
Beerus: "Your God power... It ran out some time ago."

Goku: "What!? Seriously!? But how can I...?"

Beerus: "It seems that when you fought me in God form, your body learned from the experience. Merely feeling that level of power was enough to push you to new heights. So now, even though your God form has expired, your power is much greater than before. I didn't think it was possible. You're a true prodigy, like few I've ever seen."

I wouldn't say its a one-time thing if he needed to access that form in the final clash.

Well, after his initial God amp/aura timed out, Goku needed to access additional power while fighting Beerus--but he just powered up to a SSJ1. Toriyama also stated that Goku will probably only use his base and SSJ1 forms in the future.

So yeah, if we see that original God form again, I'll be surprised.

Bills getting killed off by Frieza? Sounds shitty, but whatever happens, happens I guess.

As for Frieza training, guess that possibly throws the known thing about bad guys not being able to keep their bodies in the afterlife out the window. Hope to see how much more powerful Cell becomes then in one of the next movies or so assuming he's been able to train too. He and Frieza were like pals in hell/HFIL. Oh wait, that was filler.

Dunno where carver heard that Freeza kills Beerus, but no reputable source I've come across alludes to anything of the sort.

Well, we don't yet know how Freeza was able to train. Perhaps Sorbet and Tagoma's wish will be retroactive, and make it so that Freeza retained his body the entire time he's been dead(this would mean he has been training for like 20 years)..? Perhaps they also ask Shenron to retroactively conceal Freeza's presence from the universe during the time he trained? Who knows? But yeah, if Freeza inextricably kept his body after he died, then it throws years-worth of previously established manga canon right out the window.
