Further, to even say that was his average punching power considering the above is even more silly.
Asserting it was not his average punching power when it was explicitly stated to be is even sillier.

You lose. 👆

Rocky IV had a ****ing robot in it. It wasn't a gritty, realistic boxing story. It was a fictional story that had fighters with fictional capabilities.

Just like Rocky would have. You can't have it both ways.. You can't have creed be killed (as he should be only much sooner) just like a normal human and than have Rocky take supposedly even stronger punches for 15 rounds and not die. You can't try and make Rocky superhuman.. When that same Creed gave him a beating of a lifetime. Where was his vaunted durability then... It didn't magically kick in when he was 40 right? I mean are the lengths you guys will go to suspend reality one minute and then go back to reality the next. It's really quite insulting to see some of the things being said out of ignorance and plain hypocrisy in this thread.

This is what some would have you believe

1. Rocky's durability magically increases with age (unlike every living boxer that ever existed) yet, we know Rocky to be totally human and governed by the same laws. This was the clear presentation of the Rockyverse

2. Rocky's training in Rocky 4 further increased his durability. even though he had been trained by the best trainer in the Rockyverse... for HW title fights.. yet he didn't know how to increase his durability? Please. I mean the amount of bs they are trying to make up here is seriously hilarious

3. Drago is able to punch with the same amount of force in a set environment after juicing up as he would in an actual fight with somebody actively dodging.. rolling.. blocking... stepping away and using angles. Another ridiculous notion to even accept.

4. Rocky's Prime is somehow 40 now, which again defies what the director went out of his way to portray Rocky as a normal guy. Not somebody who's physical make up defies the same laws that everybody else in the world deals with. He couldn't have made Rocky anymore the opposite of that. Rocky has always been a durable guy... that was his thing he keeps on coming. This didn't magically increase over years... He was just doing what he'd always een doing since Rocky 1.

There isn't a single narration that even implies let alone hints at Rocky being physically different than everybody else and not governed by the same laws. NO PLACE is this ever stated or even IMPLIED. Obviously a key plot point like that would've been. All in all the lengths that some of you are going is downright hilarious

Totally incorrect and goes against the whole nature of the story. Did you even see Rocky 1? If you did, you would know that Rocky was supposed to be anything but superhuman who's body physical make up is different than anybody else. In fact, it was the total opposite. It was academy awards because he was an average guy and nothing more. To then turn around and make him into more when that defies the key plot of the movie and why it was so compelling is simply dumb Rob and you know it.

That is a lot of crying because you don't like what a movie clearly shows.

Are we talking about Rocky I or Rocky IV? Exactly. Rocky(the film) is grounded in realism and a very good film. Rocky IV isn't, on either account.

Another person that clearly has never been in a fight in his life. Kinda like Silent. That was his average punching power AFTER getting injected in a SET environment. Do you understand the different between hitting a non moving target who's not fighting back in a set environment and an actual fight in a boxing ring.. Do you get the different or think the punches thrown in each environment are all the same with the same average power?

A whole lot of girlish whining with no substance.

Rocky as of IV is superhuman, as is Drago. Deal with it. 👆

I'm about to hit Nemebro with a 2k psi punch.

I understand that I'm making your dick feel tiny right now, but that is no reason for blatant falsehoods. I've fought and killed more people than you've ever met.

Do I understand the different? Don't you mean difference? 🙂

Sorry little guy, but the movie's statements > your girlish whining. Rocky's face withstood 1,850 PSI punches on average. 👆

imo, Drago was clearly meant to be super human in the film

I wouldn't say "super human" but it was made clear that the steroids they kept pumping him with gave him unnatural strength.

There was also a beautiful love story between those 2

I dont think in the "real world" anyone can punch that hard EVEN with the help of steroids.

Of course not. But in the context of that fictional story the steroids plus his training is what made him so strong.

He's just tired. 👆

You left out the part where I said in a couple punches.. Ya know that key point of the sentence. Yet, Creed didn't go down after 1 or 2 or 2 or 4 punches with now an average of 1850... He probably took about 60 punches of 1850 PROVING he wasn't punching at that level. Or even 100 or even 850. Thanks for proving my case while trying to change what I actually said. Always do my work for me by owning yourself Robbie.

So you believe somebody can punch with the same amount of force in a set environment and duplicate that power with each punch in a actual boxing match?

I've just owned you like I've done so countless times before. This thread is no different. You're just a lot less knowledgeable about this subject than Star wars. I attribute it to your lack of competing in sports at any level and your lack of fighting experience.

Which is exactly the point... Rocky isn't superhuman and doesn't age slower and gain durability as he ages. This was never stated let alone even implied. Rocky one set the back drop for who exactly Rocky was, and it couldn't be more clear. Rocky 4 wasn't a different universe it was the same universe. Instead of making up things that were never said in the movie to explain why he was able to do something in Rocky 4.. why not just look to what we see all the time.. Somebody past his best years... turning back the clock for one great last performance. It's really that easy.

I believe they can if it's explicitly stated to be an average punch from them. 👆

Why is the little girl who ran crying from the LotR forum after I spanked her cute little ass talking shit now?

I'm not knowledgeable about Star Wars at all. I'm also not really sure what thread you are referencing in a desperate attempt to save face, but I do know it's not working, and you still look bad. 🙂

Go back to the pond froggy. You've lost this debate.

Well you're wrong again, having watched 85% of Rocky IV last night, Apollo took 21-22 punches (mix of face/body) in the first round and 17 punches in the second round.

So applying maths:

21-22 + 17 = 38-39 punches

38-39 isn't 60; it's not even "about 60"

I would need to "own myself" to ever be "owned", as you clearly can't do it and why you're so angry
