Exactly.

The early years Worf wasn't anything special, little more than an ancillary character. Once Tasha was gone and the hair grew, he really started to grow in TNG. DS9 he was free to find his own footing on fresh terrain.

Yep. It's a shame we didn't get to see that Captain Worf show Michael Dorn was pushing for, but maybe with the new series coming out, there's a chance for something of a resurgence.

I was fully down for the space adventures of Captain Worf.

Worf really found his footing in DS9, imo. He was good when he grew his hair in TNG,

Ha that's exactly when I started liking him, when he grew his hair. Strange.

But yeah he became one of my top Fav's in DS9.

Worf growing the ponytail is like Riker growing the beard. Things just changed after that.

Picard is hard to beat, he's well written and you have the talent of Patrick Stewart backing him up.
So Picard is your guy.

I'll remember this.

For some reason the scene where Garak snaps Quarks neck(a holodeck version of Quark) is highly amusing to me. He just does it with a pretty casual snap.

Do you want a Kelvin version of Worf or are you partial to the original actor so it won't be the same thing no matter what the new actor would bring to the table.

it better be Michael Dorn lol... if not I will boycott... lol.... if a comparible actor takes over and does a good job then I wil be happy...

definitely

Personally, I want to see another actor like in all the younger roles. But I am that way with Robert Englund. No other actor will ever rival him for Freddy.

Vin Diesel would make a decent Worf/other klingon.

Well the Kelvin timeline isn't moving to Next Gen anytime soon, so won't get a new Worf for a long time.

Time travel. We might have George Kirk coming back. We also could have a Colonel Worf.

Klingon yes, Worf no imo. Need an actor with better range.

like Vin, but can't see him as Worf

I would rather have a new Klingon burst into the next film. Hoping we do get a big budget Kelvin film. Going to depend on the foreign market.

Yeah, can't see this alt time-line jumping into TNG characters on film four, nor would I want them too.

Speaking of actors who would make a good Klingon foe or friend, Liev Schreiber.

👆 Great pick.

This is an alternate reality so the events don't have to play out anywhere near the same. To act as if the same villains need to just hold on and wait until the next generation show up in the Kelvin universe is a horribly narrow minded viewpoint. Firstly, we don't know how many more films will be made since this isn't Star Wars (a sure thing). Secondly, it would be refreshing to see Spock and Kirk go up against some of these villains rather than the new Picard and crew to do so again. Borg. Nuff said.

Thanks.

Liam Neeson is another I think could be potentially good as an aged Klingon warrior, who's more of a diplomat now than a hot-head, but still has those warrior embers going deep down.
