I think Filoni talked about Ahsoka's dueling abilities during an interview or something. I still would say the fight is inconclusive as almost all of it took place offscreen.
I thought Vader might of been holding back because after their fight he at least was for a brief moment before engaging Ahsoka again. Even if Vader was distracted, it still shouldn't have sent him flying. A Fore wall is passively active like how Luke's was in the ESB novelization.
To me, Ashoka's abilities are still lacking enough feats as they're inconsistent. She's able to take the 7th Sister and 5th Brother by herself with moderate difficulty but then the 5th Brother fights evenly with her and he manages to hold both her and Kanan off with the Eighth Brother or whatever his name is.
And he's really not. And them making Vader more skilled in canon basically wipes out the whole concept of the PT (you know, 'only Yoda and Mace could contend with Sids, Sids being the uber powerful Sith Lord who defeated 3 Masters in the blink of an eye and went toe-to-toe with Yoda) and the Rule of Two, considering Vader was Sheev's apprentice for a load of years and never even attempted to challenge him, when supposedly you challenge when you know or at least think you can defeat your master.

Not really.
I know you'll never accept Sheev's superiority over Vader in canon (at least for the time being), but you really think Maul > Dooku?
Originally posted by Col. ValerianTo be serious, it's really not unreasonable. In Legends, Anakin was regarded as of the best duellists in mythos and according to Nick Gillard he's a "Lvl 9", same level as Sidious and Yoda. Since then he's grown more experienced and presumably more technically skilled (the only thing that took a hit was his speed & mobility.) So its not infeasible that in terms of sheer saber mastery, he's at least equal if not superior to Palpatine.
The order of this is just messed up.
On top of that he was proclaimed by Sidious himself to be the greatest Jedi Killer ever, above himself, obviously since Sidious rarely actually got his hands dirty, but it's still a fair point that the simple rarity of Sidious ever drawing his saber makes him "better" in this regard. The list even references the fact Sheev only ever does so "when necessary", while Vader's the enforcer. It makes sense he's No. 1.
What's more interesting is Darth Maul being above Count Dooku, both were very active duelists renowned for their combat skill, so there's no excuse for Dooku not to be above him unless Maul is just a better combatant. Which isn't infeasible either, and lends itself greatly to Ahsoka wank. 🙂

It's pretty clear from the writing style of that source that it's hardly meant to be taken as a serious analysis of anything. It sounds like something you'd get out of the kids' section of a bookstore, lol.
