Magic bean will do the trick.

When is the next manga coming out

I wonder what kind of low balling arguments we will have this week? I'm not preparing myself to talk about how amazing the fight is, I'm sure we will cover 5 to 10 pages of someone dissecting a cartoon. Can't wait to see what happens. CDTM, Cosmic Comet, and New Guy...us DB fans will be waiting for you.

Monoka is obviously like the most powerful character ever seen in any media.

Looks like I was right. That ending battle took place while time was stopped in episode 39. I'm trying to figure out what that was Hit wrapped Goku in when Goku was blitzing him through the Kameha.

**** I forgot about the episode.

Spoiler:
EDIT: So... Universe 2's Mr. Popo?

Zarama is massive. If that 4 galaxy argument wasn't dead, it is now. He's clearly larger than 4 galaxies...

On top of that, he can grant any wish.

Damn. Hopefully he looks cool.

They showed a little bit of him and he does look beastly. Also, a lot of people stopped watching DB because Akira myth bust them with the 4 Galaxy thing. People used it to downplay Dragonball and once that was brought to the surface that their were uncountless amount of Galaxies, I've noticed a couple of people pulling away from Dragonball.

So Goku only stood a chance cause Hit was not allowed to use his killer moves hence tournament rules....

Pretty much. Hit is one of the best characters in DBS right now. Wonder if this is the last we will see of him. Also, has anyone figured out what Hit was doing to Goku during time freeze.

Looks like Goku has more raw power.

Also seemed like champs was afraid of Goku and Hit.

Before Akira changed his mind for this series, there WERE only 4 galaxies in DB cosmology... It was established across multiple canon sources over the years, and remained that way for decades. As he did with many concepts for this series, however, Akira had a change of heart and made the DBU into a full-sized universe... Which is about the least disheartening thing he did to the franchise. On that note, the amount of galaxies in the DBU has absolutely nothing to do with why many of us 'die-hards' no longer follow the series. That's one of the dumber things that has come from your mouth, lol.

Most of us no longer follow the show because it is absolutely terrible for the most part, and cheapens the DB of old. Akira is all over the f*cking place with his thought-processes, and has shifted the emphasis from quality storytelling, to hyper-inflated feats. It's quite ridiculous, and I'd prefer to remember 'classic' DB... Back when it was consistently great.

But for someone like yourself, who doesn't care at all about quality storytelling and only watches for "teh uber feets!!1!!!11!!", I'm sure you think it's just the bees knees... Different strokes, I suppose. 🙂

Think about it for a bit. The fts were/are needed. People would not accept how powerful dB characters were and they were limited to planetary level, at their max. I'm not primarily watching the show because of the but I am not shy of them getting what they deserve either. DB is by far the most lowballed, underrated show/characterization on any site. I see no take aways from what has been displayed and they need more showings on top of this until it dings in people skull.

That's the difference between you and I, carver. I have never cared about the Z Fighters racking up high-end feats so that I can debate them against characters from Marvel and DC on internet battleboards. I much prefer quality above all else--that's why I enjoyed the franchise so much more before DBS entered the fray. Akira has sacrificed quality in favor of hyper-inflating powers nowadays. It's a shame, really.

That being said, BoG and RoF(the original films, not the revamps featured in the show) were very enjoyable for me... Really liked them overall. As with most things in the current franchise, however, the 'retellings' featured in DBS ruined them for me. 😘

While the last fights were most certainly entertaining, I do still miss the kind of actual storytelling that DB and even DBZ had, as well. Hope that changes someday with DBS, though Goku vs Hit proved they can still get their shit together when it comes to awesome fight choreography, at least.

edit: The Golden Frieza fighting was done better in Super than in the movie, but almost everything else DBS did worse as far as the BoTG and RoF retelling.

To be honest saying DBS is terrible is just ridiculous. I mean yes it has it bad moments but it also has many good ones. They have also introduced many amazing new characters.

I agree the story telling is not up to par of DBZ and DB but it is still entertaining all in all.

In terms of overall quality, it IS terrible when compared to DB and DBZ, imo. That doesn't mean a few episodes haven't been good, I'm just talking about the series as a whole.

That said, I hear it has been a little better these past few episodes. I genuinely hope it keeps in that direction. I want to like the show--I really do. I have just been thoroughly disappointed with most of the episodes I've tried to watch since the BoG-era, and that has made me lose most of my faith in Akira.
