Could be more of a reality manipulation thing. Anybody else think evil Goku was badass?

Pretty much what I expected.

What's with the earing? Is that a Potera?

Calling it now: Vegeta will be the one to defest evil Goku. Goku himself will fail.

Anyways, at least Vegeta is definitively defined as being Goku's equal, thanks to that clone fight.

Only reason Goku looked better vs holding back Hit was because he got to watch Vegeta's fight, and didn't have to go through three opponents before hand.

And that he could do Kaioken in his blue form, which was far beyond the power of Vegeta and Goku could end his fight against copy Vegeta in seconds with such power.

I think it's pretty much clear (by Whis and Beerus) that Omni-King is by far the most powerful being ever in Dragon Ball, that he possesses by far greatest power on his own. This is the first time on Dragon Ball series that it's said that is someone is by far more powerful than anyone else and is a no contest.

We will see if he will demonstrate at least some kind of such power.

Damn good episode.

Black was absolutely ruthless. I'm liking the theory that he is actually a version of Goten rather than Goku. Of course, I'm very curious of the Kaioshin. I wonder if he is from one of those destroyed universes and now want revenge against the Omni-Kiing.

Once Hit evolves. Vegeta could have done as well up to that point, if he wasn't already three fights in and had the benefit of observing Hit fight.

Super Kaioken is also unreliable to the point of being impractical in every fight. 10 out of 10 matches, Goku would beat himself for a majority trying.

And that's likely how Goku loses to black Goku, trying to pull a Super Kaioken. Than once he targets Vegeta's son, we'll see the first SSJ White.

We know SSJ White is going to happen, and Trunks + Evil Goku makes this being a Vegeta story very likely. (Think Sinestro getting the White Lantern power first in Blackest Night.)

Doesn't matter... would still be more than enough to quickly end copy Vegeta.

Maybe, we'll see.

It does matter, because Goku ssid if Super Kaioken fails, it messes his body up right away. He wouldn't even get a chance to fight.

At less than 10% odds of working, it's sheer luck that he pulled it off against Hit.

He did pull it up and he used it the first time. Next time it would be easier.

About Black Goku. He rules the future... who knows how powerful he is and who will be involved in his defeat.

Didn't know Black Goku is Goten. I like that even better.

Is he really Goten or just a theory?

Theory. It's probably bullshit since the writers refer to the character as "Black Goku". But who knows? They may be screwing with us.

I would much rather it be Goten. A story about Trunks and Goten from the future, that'd be something.

This is definitely future Trunks though, had his memories and everything.

If he trained, maybe. But he hasn't trained a bit since the tournament, which is why he was so upset with Vegeta for training with Whis.

Regardless, copy Vegeta proves beyond a doubt that Goku and Vegeta are equals normally. Any claims to Goku being much stronger are demonstratably false. (Not that the fanboys let "facts" get in the way of their conjecture.)

And they wouldn't bring up a danger if they didn't plan on using it. Goku's Super Kaioken WILL fail, probably more than once. And Veggie will be there to bail him out.

They were always around the same level normally.
It's just that Goku can go far beyond what Vegeta has achieved.

For now, there is considerable distinct between their shown power level.

Goku claimed he was putting everything he had into his last attack to save Vegeta, though (Minus Super Kaioken, which would have meant Vegeta's death had it failed.)

Everything Goku had simply wasn't enough.

You two should just make love already.

And then discuss who'd win between Omni-King and Superman.

Superman still beats the Omni King. Easily.

I thought this episode was absolutely incredible. 9.5/10, imo. The animation was what I've always hoped Super would be, and not that blocky, rushed garbage they threw at us early on. Thank god for that.

Spoiler:
Was anyone else pissed though, that Mai died so early? I was kinda excited for her to get shipped with Future Trunks...

Black is ruthless though, which is just what we need from a DBZ villain. I think that sheer animosity is what was so attractive to fans, when it comes to villains like Frieza, and Kid Buu. Definitely excited to see him again, especially if Vegeta gets the limelight for a bit to take him down in the end. Or the Omni-King. Seeing him in action would be cool too.

Yeah, but again Whis told Goku he (and Saiyans) confuse battle prowess with power.

So thinking Omni-King isn't conventionally strong. Possessing an equivilent of a multiversal nuke would certainly make him the strongest.

No it wouldn't? Possessing a multiversal nuke would be worthless, if all the MFTL+++ characters could stop him from using it. Beerus wouldn't call him "frighteningly" superior to everyone(himself and Whiss included), if he wasn't just that.

You can say whatever you want, Hit and Goku were far beyond anything Vegeta has shown.
