Still don't get the Mai/Future Trunks thing though.. Because they couldn't have been wished back young because no dragon balls so she couldn't be as young as Trunks she would be older/old as Bulma... Unless Future Trunks just likes cougars.... who knows.

Also wonder what Future Trunks is going to think of Present Trunks and Goten.

It would've been a pointless transformation for Trunks though. Let's say he went Super Saiyan 2...he still would've been treated like fodder which means him Transforming was pointless. Let's say if he transformed and did outright amazing against Black. Hell, let's say if he did alright against him. That means that Black should by default be fodder to someone like the current Z fighters. Nothing. I think it was handled perfectly.

Yeah. I mean he was still cool even defending himself against a much stronger opponent, like with the sword throw. Just hope he's able to become stronger again sometime, especially with whom all & how much more he's lost now. Being one of the more badass heroes to boot, he shouldn't stay at the level he is forever, IMO.

He's most def going to become stronger...hell, he might have a good moment in a battle against Black due to his increase in power. I think they will probably use this Trunks for the next tournament. I know one thing, the next episode, I can already tell it's going to be good.

But having a higher transformation is always how they make characters stronger... Unless he goes ssb .. But also, Goku goes ssj to fight Trunks seems weird also if he actually needs too and doesn't do it just because

Well, guess manga 100% confirmed blue > red with on panel evidence and not words.

Sarcasm or no?

OH the manga version is different... Instead of using Kaio-Ken, Goku is able to override the timestop with plain SSB... Makes more sense, to be honest.

Lol nope not sarcasm as you seen. I dont get how he could go ssjg thought

Nah, it makes sense. In BoG he went SSG for a moment at the end too; he can draw it out. SSB is just a more controlled SSG transformation.

The strange thing now is that Vegeta lost... Even though he went SSB. The moment Goku went SSB he moved beyond Hit's timestop... Is Vegeta just that much weaker than him because he didn't undergo the ritual?

Either way, I think I'm going to take the side of the manga being the canonical adaptation... It makes way more sense for the most part, at least right now.

Well, supposedly ssb takes a lot of energy so Vegeta was at 10% of his power against Hit because of what he did against Cabe from what I read of someone translation n. .. Dunno how true it is though

Yea I like how the manga brought ssg back. I like the thin appearance of it.

But yes this confirms that Blue is superior

why does vegeta and everybody else look so shocked when he turn ssg?

Also the manga makes it look like Goku is having no trouble at all with Hit

When is the english version out?

No, and it likely won't be out for a while. And yeah, Hit's power made no sense in the anime...

So it looks like activating SSB is incredibly taxing, even in short bursts. So the fact that Vegeta used it against Cabba and then turned back was a mistake; because come time to fight Hit, he was only fighting at ~10% of his full strength.

That's why Goku, who was 100%, stomped him once he brought out the God Ki.

But that is manga, anime is different and Hit was different. What is canon?

Who knows. I think the manga makes a whole lot more sense, though. Excluding haxxx, Hit shouldn't be able to contend at a level that's 10x God.

Can someone post this showing? Also, everyone knew Blue was more powerful. It was just a couple of people downplaying the transformation.

The Anime is canon and it's far ahead of the Manga. With that said, anything that happens in the Anime is usable.

Well, both can make sense, because it's just different.

I actually like that more... that anime is canon.

"Goku has not only closed the power gap that existed between himself and Hit, but has reversed their roles entirely. A unique ability such as Time Skip only works at maximum efficiency on those equal or lesser than the user's power level."
