Its his new form that he began besting Black with after Blue lost. And Goku uses red again against Zamasu. And Vegeta is still using god mode when they merge. So everything is pointing to red being stronger. And Goku started out using blue then goes red.

Also I figure in manga red is better because its been stated blue is a huge energy drain, and why Vegeta lost to Hit.

okay, so apparently Red is used to conserve energy and to attack Vegeta switches to blue for the time it takes to hit because Blue is such a drain to stay in then down to red. And Goku cannot use Blue because he did mafuba so he has to use red.

So reds a better balance while blue has a higher power. So reds still a better form in most regards. Vegeta can easily evade and launch attacks in red but blue he uses for actual damage.

Indeed. Blue raw power>red raw power. In anime there was never such drain in blue form as in manga.

Ah. I like how they make it viable to use both forms there.

But yeah.

Eh... so it's the opposite of the anime, where Blue is like a more stable version of God.

Still, this is odd. Vegeta was exhausted to the point where he couldn't access even 10% of his power after just using Blue momentarily against Cabba. I'd figured it was because the transformation itself requires considerable energy, but now with Vegeta changing constantly it just doesn't make sense. Makes me wonder how the Frieza fight went in the manga, what with Blue having such obviously terrible ki efficiency.

Welp, still better than the anime~

Exactly. Wgis slflat out says that you can't just be turning blue on and off like Vegeta did for Cabba and Hit. And now he did it quite a bit.

I like the anime fights a lot better except for Vegetas initial beat down of black in the manga.

Well, raw power of blue> raw power of red,... blue is more powerful, also in manga.

Sadly it is. I would've liked if red was more powerful, but alas. At least it still has a use in one of the mediums though.

Red has a cool look where Blue just looks super saiyan.

So I'm right? Don't know why I was disputed anyways.

Nope, you're totally wrong Carver.

though I don't know what it is exactly you're wrong about. 😛

One thing I don't get is, Beerus had been looking for a good fight for a long time...someone that could give him a challenge. What I'm trying to figure out is, why did he not challenge Goku recently after seeing and discovering Goku has become far more powerful since their last scuffle?

Because Beerus had character development and moved on to other things. He has more important things like preventing the destruction of his universe, thanks to Goku messing things up. Ya, Beerus wanting to fight someone strong was the premise for him to go to Earth.

Yeah... Would've kinda made sense for Beerus to push Goku physically again in preparation for the tournament, to see where his limits lie now and maybe make him a bit stronger. But nope, gotta have Beerus be whiny and just play the blame game.

Cause he still doesn't see Goku as a challenge more than likely. Sure he gets shocked when Goku does something beyond normal, but he's still not an actual match for Beerus. He just surprises him with the power he gets.
