In order for universe 7 to win the tournament of power, Gohan’s recovery is important. Gohan’s master, Piccolo, puts him through a special one-on-one training in order to help his body gain back it’s lost strength. What is the result of his training?!

Thank god we can put this to rest.

Impossible, Gohan never lost his strength! He was stronger than he ever was as Mystic during RoF and beyond!!!

With how things are being written now, it's fortunate for him that his training will actually bear fruit from the sounds of it.

I mean, 30 hours of hard training will now put him back to get ssj2.

Wait is that actually confirmed? If so then its nice that the fandom can finally move on from that.

So the logic of this scene is . . .

I'll chalk that scene off as just fun casual sparring. I mean we know Goku tends to not really push Gohan through training the way Piccolo does; during the first RoSaT session, Gohan had to push his dad just to challenge him so he would at least become super saiyan, and Goku being the even bigger airhead he is now with Super, it would take nothing short for someone like Piccolo to help Gohan break through/past his current limits.

That's how I see it anyway. Meh.

😆

Jobbing to Gohan. Jesus Christ.

Goku should just quit fighting.

While you could prolly say that for the Krillen thing and onward, not seeing how that there in particular is jobbing on Goku's part; he wasn't even SSB during that scene against Gohan. He was just having fun in a weaker SSJ form.

Watching an older episode of Super. ChiChi spending all of the money Goku got from Mr. Satan and demanding Goku get a job. I know it's all a gag, but this gag is getting stale.

There is NO reason for Goku to ever have money problems.

1. Ask Mr. Satan for money.
2. Ask Bulma for money.
3. Do large scale construction work for $10,000,000 a pop (i.e. Demolishing buildings, leveling construction sites, leveling mountains, leveling forest, etc).

Episode 87 had some good and bad to it.

The bad was the lame filler-tier poacher villain. Felt like a really forced premise for Goku and 17 to work together.

The good was Goku and 17 "bonding" I guess. Easily the best part of Super (and perhaps the only thing that really keeps me eager to watch these episodes) is the characterization and development of the cast. This episode didn't disappoint in that aspect. Granted, I'm pretty sure 17 doesn't need super dragon balls to get a boat. Hell, he doesn't even need regular dragon balls provided he goes what Goku should be doing and just do large scale construction work in exchange for $10-100 million zini a pop. He'll get that boat in no time. 🙂

Gotenks the Park Ranger. A filler episode I want to happen and it won't.

It will. In fact, I'm 100% certain. 😂

I'm sure the villain doing all that threatening with the remote trigger brought back kinda painful memories of Dr Gero for 17 though. lol And lmao @ King Kai going all "We're not a bomb disposal place!" to Goku. Poor guy whose still dead because of him.

But yeah, decent episode for the most part.

Nope cause Goku always has to come save the day. xD can't have adult Gotenks, and can't have Gotenks protecting a park from Poachers with Kamikaze Ghosts.

He should still be leagues above Gohan... even if he stayed in his base form...

Indeed and he still is. But Gohan could probably quickly close the large gap between him and Goku.

No, don't see Gohan doing anything like that. He damn regressed to Great Saiyaman, ffs haermm

"Don't damage the ship"

*Totally damages ship on the bridge*

How did they even pilot that thing out of space?

Anyone love how Goku had to go SSB to survive the space vacuum?

Did he transform because of Ki Control? Was he holding back against space?

I think Goku is now just transforming into SSB,... why in SSJ mode when he can easily transform to SSB. In SSB he has access to all his powers and also complete control, minumum or maximum output. It's becoming instinct transformation. And probably because he has something new in his sleeve.
