Agreed.

I really wanted to see Tien vs Piccolo. He seemed to think he could match up with Piccolo at the least cause he tells Goku we shouldn't hurt them to bad. Even with Piccolo powering up but and Gohan soloing the fight Tien wasn't even worried about Piccolo and even took his blast head on after being hit by Gohan and knocked to his knees.

Tien at his best with help of best writing shouldn't close match Piccolo, but no matter what, I still consider Tien as the strongest human with true, real warrior spirit.

when humans are matching base Goku, being about to match Piccolo isn't a stretch lol

I don't take seriously Roshi and Krillin matching Base Goku. I also didn't take seriously Piccolo handling SSJ2 Gohan, schooling out of shape Gohan yes, but not in same range of power.

The best was Piccolo power matching the limits of Base Goku. That was good in my opinion.

So you only take seriously what you like/agree with? If we're gonna be real about it, anybody reaching Goku/Vegeta level without god ki training shouldn't be taken seriously.

Taking into account what we know about "saiyan beyond god", Base Goku should be able to curbstomp everybody in Universe 10 not named Vegeta. Kind of silly IMO, but this show has been pretty silly as of late. 😂

So Tien's motivation for winning appears to be so he could pay Goku's tab. 😆

It doesn't have anything to do with liking or disliking it. You and me know that nor Krillin nor Roshi can match Base Goku, not even close.

Piccolo against Base Goku was the most accurate.

Gohan was doing such things from the very beggining of DBZ. Even Vegeta from DBS already achieving SSB state said Gohan has greatest potential. He already had mystic form in DBZ. For me, Gohan doing that was always him from the very beggining of DBZ to the very end of DBZ and now again. For Gohan, it's not actually iut of his canon.

Still not seeing how Piccolo handling an out of touch SSJ2 Gohan is anywhere as bad as those other examples. :/ But whatever, you like/agree with what you do, and dismiss what you don't. Something you kinda have to do with the mess that is this show now.

In my opinion, Super's biggest mistake was having Goku facing Beerus right in the first arc... huge gap in power and all of that god-bullshit upgrade... smh.

It's not just like discovering another transformation...

Yeah, and to top that off, I'm beginning to think the Blue form isn't even a more powerful state at all like other transformations, and that it's just there for ki control, especially if Goku possibly getting a Mystic form (tying in why he only fights like Uub in his normal form or what it looks like) is anything to go by.

That would explain a lot. Blue = base god, only better controlled. (Raises the question of why bother with other forms at all then? Why go SSJ if it's not stronger then base?)

Makes no sense. Its original name, Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan, heavily implies it's more powerful than SBG or SSJG (Red)...

Sigh.

The SSJ Blue makes no sense for Vegeta, period.

"Perfect ki control". Right, when I think of Vegeta, I think of a perfectly controlled zen master of ki. 👆

It is when he got shitstomped by a guy who got one-shotted by an even more out of touch SSJ1 Gohan.

Piccolo said he had been training again since then though, so he was more than ready for Gohan (barring Mystic form) when the time finally came to get him back into shape.

Still don't think it's as bad as Krillen going against SSJB, etc.

Don't forget about Krillin humiliating Goku in their sparring in GT... 😖hifty:
