Yeah, I think they stopped having to worry about power level when they were STANDING RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIM AND THROWING ROCKS.
Power level damping is done to avoid detection, which is pointless when they're in plain view.

Good video analysis on the whole Tien thing. Sadly, made me laugh at how badly Tien was executed all around (and not just during the ToP). Laughably bad misuse of a perfectly good character.

Lol... so I received info on the Goku vs Jiren fight and
Spoiler:with that said, Jiren is a freaking monster. Outright beast.
Goku is going to become terrified over Jiren powering up, the pressure coming off of his body but he is still going to go Blue and challenge him. He engage Jiren and gets destroyed, easily. He then goes Kayoken and get annihilated by Jiren.

Somehow we already knew that would happen. I can't wait to see this to happen. Jiren should destroy Goku and Hit simuntaneously.
Lol...per what I heard, he is suppose to ring out a couple of people when he powering up. Hit might be one of them but I think Goku is going to regret challenging Jiren because he is going to get annihilated. He is going to get desperate to the point of
