Wait, what are people watching? Frost lamented how much he had to hold back against Roshi, and still absolutely stomped him into the dirt. Apart from esoteric techniques like the mafuba, the dude was a flea.

As for the rest of what you said, Roshi was worn out. This was stated. Frost nearly got solo'd by a worn out Roshi. This was shown. Class dismissed. 😛

I guess you didn't mentally get it. And you're trolling at this point. Vegeta blue power>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>his black hair form and he easily dismissed Frost in his base. This proves that Roshi doesn't compare at all to a base Vegeta who CASUALLY dismissed Frost while at the same time punching him against the wall. Then Vegeta took on two big guns by himself. Base Goku is fighting opponents that gave Buu level characters a run for their money. Roshi was a flee to Frost and to anyone else on or below Goku base form. Troll somewhere else.

No homo, sometimes I wonder how much ass Tien would've kicked had he gotten the Toriyama handjob... Of course, only Goku and Gohan will get the Tori double handjob this tournament, but who knows.

Tien would have kick the most butt. Solar Flarex100 and Dodonpa's for everyone.

😛 You're still missing out the biggest part that Roshi was nearly dead already from a fight he overtaxed himself.

So yea nearly dead Roshi vs the weakest guy in u6 seems a great way to judge power levels. Also if Goku stays in base against Ribrianne I call bull. Because Base Goku isn't anywhere near more powerful than ssj Vegeta.

I feel like they've just been transforming for aesthetics lately anyway.

Transformations do mean little these days. But Toei also had Goku holding his own against Super Buu and able to fight Kid Buu in ssj. So it's not a new thing where they fight someone powerful in multiple forms and still don't get stronger than them.

But ssb takes up so much energy let's abuse ssj which...takes up energy and blue was said to be less energy draining so that Goku could kaioken with it..

Toriyama handjob Tien would not only be capable of using the mafuba himself, but would able to perform it via stealth tactics such as having one multiform Tien using solar flare and another using the mafuba to catch his target. That and I imagine Toriyama handjob Tien would have a new version of the KikoHo strong enough to stop even SSG tier characters in their tracks, albeit temporarily like we see with Semi Perfect Cell. A real shame Tien didn't get the handjob like his non-Goku/Vegeta comrades as I'm sure we could'v gotten a lot of cool combat scenarios as a result. 😎

This ARC has SO MUCH MORE potential than what we're seeing. It's almost painful.

Carver: I say there! Android Saga Goku is garbage!
Dark-Kenshin: What makes you say that?
Carver: He couldn't even beat Android 19, whereas both Vegeta and Piccolo were well above that piece of scrap metal shaped like a fat clown!
Dark-Kenshin: But what about the heart-vir-
Carver (interrupt): QUIT TROLLING! YOU'RE WRONG! And while I'm at it, Saiyan saga Vegeta is crap too.
Dark-Kenshin: Huh?
Carver: He almost got killed by Krillin!
Dark-Kenshin: But wasn't this after surviving back to back fights with Goku, Gohan, Krillin, not to mention the spirit bomb and---
Carver: Nope! He was at Krillin's mercy, so he's a flee to Krillin!

Exactly! And can you imagine if Universe 7 decided to exercise some actual and intelligent teamwork. Think of how much they could do by having Krillin, Tien and Roshi use their CC (Crowd Control) techniques while having the heavy hitters coming in to sweep up opponents too disoriented/dazed to fight back. And Goku could use IT to more or less keep every member from being eliminated. They'd still have all 10 of their members. 😂

👆

Not to mention we're told that Frost specifically went after him because of this.

SSB only takes up energy in the anime when the writers want to add pointless tension. I guarentee you that neither Goku nor Vegeta's frequent SSB transformations are going to get referenced when they start fighting Jiren and Toppo (or maybe Vegeta's final opponent will be Hit) respectively. The stamina issue will be completely ignored by that point. Guaranteed.

That's amazing. All of the Gods are not there though. Still a good showing for Beerus. Crazy thing is, Vegeta did better than the group of them against Beerus.

From that panel I see eleven, so it's likely that they're all there. Five on the ground, four in the sky, and keeping in mind that Champa is above the camera (he's what they're all charging at, because they mistook him getting punched into the sky for Beerus flying away) and Beerus is hiding below Mosco's body.

He proceeds to blast all five of the GoDs in the sky, but the Grand Priest shields them.

Where was it said he was almost dead?

Vegeta is holding back as well...He could've ended Rib early in the tournament but that face made him pull back. Sorry but the Saiyans has been holding back and it has been outright said in the show that Goku holds back "all of the time".

🙂

I thought there were 13 G.O.D? So Champa is doing well against the G.O.D as well?

I didn't think anyone was serious about Roshi Being a challenge to anyone outside the humans 😅😅

Lol...yes, there's two people that has been arguing for Roshi. They aren't doing it as a booster for Roshi power, they are doing it to downplay the Saiyans power. Basically saying Roshi is>=base Goku and Vegeta. Its funny tbh.

Next week Gohan vs. Frieza (at least for a brief moment). Hmm, wonder how will that play out.

And Frost was saying that he is actually weaker than before, because he was on the run (but he was probably lying), because Hit said that Frost became stronger and sharper because he was a fugitive.

He says right afterward that the story (as well as getting dominated so easily) was a ploy to trick Vegeta.

Aha ok thanks, I missed that.

I think Gohan and Frieza are acting which will lead to Frost getting knocked out. I don't think Frieza is really the villain for Universe 7...especially with him knowing the consequences. Its all an act imo.

Roshi had just died, came back, was nowhere close to being in any shape to fight or do anything. It was the reason Frost had even attempted to attack him.

They aren't using ssb of course they are holding back. Doesn't change the fact that Ribrianne still held her own against a super saiyan Vegeta. 😕

All I've been saying is that Roshi was clearly not in any shape to fight, and to use this battle as anything is dumb. I'm not comparing Roshi to the saiyans at all...

This is what I'm hoping for as well.

He did just die and was resurrected and pumped full of Super Saiyan blue power. In the fight you are referencing him as being weakened, he was able to buff up and ignite chi off of his body. No sign of him being weakened. The guy was able to pull of TWO Maf... This speaks volumes and tells us he wasn't as weakened as you are trying to say he is.
