I'm thinking maybe Toriyama isn't only borrowing from Histories Strongest Disciple, but also One Piece. This may be like Gear 2, his own tech that's similar to a pre-existing skill, but that isn't the same thing and has its own down sides. Like heat production.

To be honest I keep thinking about when they turned into the great apes. There voice seems very similar to how Goku's was.

True. I think Jiren is going to lose due to multiple people attacking him.
Also, I don't think anyone caught on to Whis statement to Beerus. I'm referring to the scene where Goku is rising from the ashes in his new form and Whis looks over at Beerus and asks him if he have anything to say.
