I am enjoying the English dub so much it almost makes up for the old bad animation.

Though this is right around the time it started getting pretty decent for me anyway.

😱

That IS enjoyable. It's like they made it so bad, it's suddenly worth watching.

Actually forgot about that part till I rewitnessed it as such... Hit vs Vegeta in english dub will show next weekend.

What are you talking about, you are biggest Goku fan there is.

Jiren has zero character/personality. The sooner he leaves this series (likely a result of Goku beating him), the better. Besides, by next arc, "Jiren level" will probably be considered weak and Goku, Vegeta and Frieza will likely have surpassed him by leaps and bounds whereas Beerus will receive yet another plot boost (i.e. Whis was being intentionally misleading in order to motivate Goku more or some such BS). Standard Dragon Ball formula.

Never happened carver, only in your mind.

This is pretty much the formula for Beerus since the first Arc.. SSG equals Beerus. Oh he was holding back. Then ssb > SSG. Then kaiokenx20 and getting much stronger since RoF but Beerus is still above him.

At least in the manga he finds them to be insignificant to his power even after everything, never showing worry about their power yet. And it's Gokou and Vegeta together that have the power to beat him bot one alone.

Yeah, this pseudo-superhero with his dumb non-personality should vanish, forever. Hit has far more potential.

There are people, a lot of people that like Jiren. It's all a personal opinion tbh. Kind of like how i think Roshi and Krillin is a waste of space. It's my personal opinion that others probably doesn't share. Buu didn't even have a personality, just slow in the head and people loved him. Personal opinion.

Wonder why Hit didn't get this type of attention during his first appearance? Hit didn't say a freaking word during the first couple of episodes, no character development, nothing. The only thing that people complained about was him only being capable of punching one time in .05 seconds (lol). Even if they gave Jiren some character development, used on entire issue explaining his back story, I don't think that would be enough for some people. I wonder if this much complaining happens in any other anime threads. Let me check.

Vegeta worked him... easily.

Hit at least had an established background of being an assassin. What do we know about Jiren other than him being retardedly strong for no reasons mentioned? Absolutely nothing.

And despite talking 3rd person and stuff, Buu has plenty personality. lol (thanks for reminding me about Toei repeatedly giving him the shaft) Also disagree on classic characters like Roshi being a waste of space, but different strokes I guess.

If all these randoms could get crazy strong, what's stopping the humans from tiering up?

And Jiren is a superhero… That’s just as much a reason.

If not for Hit NOT being just another villain whose quirk is having a "really really high power level", he probably would have. Instead, Goku had to rely on skill and technique to fight him (i.e. actual fight creativity) to beat him (or nearly beat him anyway), which is something Dragon Ball has been lacking for ages. With Jiren, they just took Hit's initial personality (which was also nonexistent), removed his appeal (unique skillset) and just slapped a huge power level on him. And that's boring to me.
