Lobbying for anime over manga here, arguing for Jiren in foreign cinema, arguing Surfer planetary blasts destroy Superman in comics (The motivation is too obvious..)

I think the difference between the Manga and the Anime is reaching a point where they seem to have very little in common, except a basic storyline and even that is changed. I look forward to seeing the next Manga Chapter and how that will differentiate. I wouldn't be surprised if the Manga skipped Freeza and toke Buu as a member for the tournament instead.

I've also had suspicions that that might happen, although I can't put my finger on why I think so.

See, I think it'll still have Freeza in the manga because it was Toyotaro that said the lineup won't be what you think it is. Before Freeza was revealed but Buu was.

Saw PoG a few days back. Wrote he could have begun and ended it in one of his points: Fan-service.

That's all it is now, a pure fan-service manga. Zeno is telling the audience how they're supposed to feel with his "Oooh! Goku got super amazing! It must be awesome!"

....ToP.... until March... It's been half the time already..how will they stretch it out even longer..

Hopefully there is some big twist and Jiren isn't the big bad of the arc. Otherwise, there is just going to be tons more of these filler fights until we get Goku vs Jiren round two.

Toyotaro did say recently that the manga would be ahead of the anime soon... Which means no matter what, we're in for some serious filler hell.

Curious as to how Caulifla will be handled in the manga, at least... And yeah, PlagueOfGripes was spot-on yet again with his 3rd video.

And wtf is a Potara even doing in the tournament? I assume dance fusion because no outside objects, otherwise why wouldn't Goku and Vegeta have one and clean house?

Nope. Goku said that fusion wouldn't stand a chance against Beerus and then Vados said it multiples their power "tens of times". It's simply that Kale is almost on par with SSG Goku.
