apparently she goes to attack Goku once he's worn out again, and #17 /#18 save him and start fighting her but then the next episode title after that makes it sound like U2 might eliminate someone with a technique and I swear if that hideous monstrosity gets rid of the androids..Just no please? No? Can we not?

With all this fusion talk I'm hoping eventually like Goku asks Vegeta to fuse but this time Vegeta is all "NOPE, NOPE, I SAID ONE LAST TIME AND I MEANT IT, THAT WAS IT." but then Gohan chimes in and we finally get the fusion that was meant to be back in the Buu arc, and maybe it'll last way longer too and be a perfect fit due to Gohan's Mystic/Ultimate form and Ultra Instinct coming from the same "skill tree" or something.

Me too, but if he's twitching it probably means he gets involved. And Jiren is their golden boy villain, which means taking every opportunity to show how much tougher he is then anyone who gives Goku trouble.
They did the same with berserk Kale, when Goku went blue and shot a Kamehameha that had absolutely no effect, and then Jiren just one shots her.
UI and Jiren should be on another level compared to Kefla. I think you will most likely be right cdtm. Would make the most sense here.
She might end up being a little bit stronger than Hit. Which doesn't mean much.
Goku will most likely figure out UI on his third try which will be when he needs it against Jiren.

I thought it was funny how Jiren didn't sweat Goku's new ability at all, but thinking about it, I bet he experienced the same thing himself. Whis wouldn't know because for angels, it's a racial ability, but Jiren must have started out just like Goku has, with the same problems.
Meaning he knew he had him on attrition. Jiren is as untouchable, but without the timer, so of course he wouldn't be worried. Only annoyed it was taking so damned long to finish this guy.
