So is Freeza. With him bound up like that, Ginyu could have just walked up to him and body swapped, on the hopes his crew would wish him back again.
That's the perfect reason for wanting Goku to get stronger.

Actually, it makes perfect sense. The fact that Dyspo can accelerate his speed doesn't mean he can accelerate his perceptions.
We were told that he can boost himself to thousands of times his base speed when attacking, but only in linear patterns; he can't change direction or react to an opponent's attack without slowing down. In other words, he aims and shoots--he cedes control at max speed. His fighting style relies on the fact that his opponents can't dodge his super-speed attacks, which is why he's at a disadvantage against master martial artists (like Goku and Hit) who can predict his line of attack before he accelerates.

Lol...how can he accelerate his speed without his perception? If he can go FTL but his perception isn't enhanced, he would flying out of the ring. How would he even be able to tag anyone? At one point he was going extremely fast circling Hit body. It's nigh impossible for him to achieve any of this without being able to perceive it. This post is hilarious.
It wasn't said that he can only go linear when moving at high speeds. Goku said he is too linear when fighting against him. That doesn't mean he can only go in a straight line while moving fast.

If you was granted speed at or above the speed of sound and your perception remained the same, you're telling me you would be comfortable at moving at those speeds with human like perception? Think about it.
I was just rewatching DBS 109-110 and it occurred to me that for a touted 'trump card', Goku's Genki Dama probably has one of the worst track records of any attack in the franchise. I mean, the only character it has ever canonically prevailed against is Pure Boo... But that was only AFTER Goku had been wished back to full power by the Dragon Balls. Had that not happened, it would have failed against Boo as well.
