By the sounds of the preview, Jiren will stalemate a n00b UI Goku in every sense of the word. So assuming MUI is vastly beyond n00b UI(which is the overt implication), Goku should become FAR more powerful than Jiren after attaining it.
ie. MUI Goku >>>> n00b UI Goku ~ FP Jiren > Belmond(for a sense of scale.)

Anyway, this episode was a good cliffhanger, though, because the show is now on hiatus until March 3... So we have to wait a few week to see how things play out.

Beerus's reaction to UIO was also a bit interesting. Didn't seem shook at all, just excited.

Edit: This episode, along with some info on manga chapter 33, just shows how much better the manga is than the anime. As Galan said, Jiren was an even more overt ******* this episode than ever before, whereas Jiren in the manga is:

1. Not dicking around and actually attacking people
2. Not knocking people out of the ring, just knocking them out of his way, because he doesn't want to be responsible for erasing universes

Much more interesting dynamic than what we got in the anime.

Whether Jiren wins or not, I'd at least like to hear what his wish is/would be to draw a conclusion as to his motivations, even if the anime version is a prick. It's whatever to me at this point though as to who triumphs. Plus Frieza still around whom I'm glad didn't show up to act stupid savagely again this ep.

Ah, so some weeks till the next episode huh? It's just as well then given when it's due to end.

Amazing episode. I felt bad for Vegeta. This is the first time I seen Jiren in pain. That punch did something.

It seems like they are trying to give Jiren the villain feel now and I'm guessing they are doing this because a lot of people didn't care for him.

Also, it appears Jiren is still playing around with everyone, so I would not say he is nerfed, he just doesn't or haven't came into a position of needing to use his power. This is a time where we get to see him cut lose and Goku is going to stomp him. The crazy thing is, I think Jiren is hiding a transformation.

Good episode. Just further proof that Vegeta is the best character.

And the next episode looks great.

Yeah, that was pretty sad for Vegeta. I knew he was going down, but that would have been the perfect time for UI.

I just hope Vegeta continues to push Royal Blue. Maybe get a SSJ3 version of Blue. He and Goku need to have separate transformations now.

Looked at the previews. It appears Jiren is going to have an advantage over UI Goku. It isn't going to be enough and Jiren is hitting him. Also, the speed Jiren and Goku is going to be fighting at, it's mentioned that it is faster than anything shown in the battle. It's going to be a great fight.

They may be faster then sonar can track. So up there with the slowest Flash ever. 😂

99% sure his reaction uses the same clip and line from the last time Goku used UI against Kefla, so literally nothing new there.
