Are they androids? Different abilities, different source of powers.

Careful, you'll get the "special" people going.

DBS IS THE SUPEREST SURPASSEST EVER!

Yes.

They also aren't pure androids and can make love and have child. 17 shoots jizz. They didn't have the bombs to get detonated without their approval, but apparently they can still blow up with their full energy. Just like Chiaotzu, Vegeta, and whatever the **** happened with Cell.

Cell was also an android without a bomb and he blew up. As did Buu.

Self-destruction is a long established technique used by various types of characters. Super is certainly flawed but a guy using a technique we've seen before is not really a flaw lol.

That makes a lot of assumptions not found in the story.

The humans trained to get their abiities. The androids (Cyborgs) were built with special "furnaces". Nothing says they can self destruct themselves any more then unaugmented humans have infinite energy.

As for Cell, he's a special case, in that he's totally biological, plus has full knowledge of training and techs engrained in his cells.

In theory, sure, they could train and gather ki like anyone else, but as far as we know they were never trained in that way. Who would train Android 17? He's been out in the wilderness all this time, park rangering it up.

Yes a lot of assumptions. The problem is he did it though. Trying to explain why it's applicable because of something beats stamping your feet and saying it's not true.

Who taught Chiaotzu how to murder himself?

The least of 17's issues in that arc is assuming he could blow up.

It still irritates me that they seem to be treating UI as a bonafide transformation that Goku must consciously access/master, though -- kind of defeats the whole concept of 'subconscious fighting', imo, but w/e...
Yea, I really don't get why UI needs to be a transformation. But hey, Mystic/Super Gohan also became a transformation that he lost over time... So what can you expect.

Animation took a mega hit the first half of the episode lol.

Was literally 'ya plz get kicked out bye' Ok now budget for main event

What did you expect? Just still be happy Vegeta got his moment with Toppo which will go down in history on top of everything he's done...

I wonder why Freeza is suddenly just forgotten about though.. like oh no only Goku is left in the ring, Freeza isn't over here with us or anything but only Goku is in the ring..

Think they left Frieza out purposely in hiding, which was smart in this episode's case.

Make no mistake I am. But damn everything looked so sloppy. Like...12 frames of animation

So next episode will end with Goku White then after we actually get to see him in action in ep. 130.

God they are dragging this out....

its dragon ball. IT's what they do best.

Sad thing is the writing is terrible. Like...damn. Everyone in attendance conveniently forgot about frieza and they don't seem to care that he is still in the tournament. So obvious lol.

If you take a closer look at the extended preview Jiren might be still stronger the UI Goku and that will trigger White...to me it seems like..

I just figured out..
The real reason Super is ending cause they ran out of super saiyan colors...

I dunno, in theory there could still be super saiyan purple and some things like that.
