The Kaioshin flat-out stated the battle was no longer causing universal devastation. This was further solidified when we no longer saw shockwaves reverberating across the universe... What isn't computing?

???

I could care less about whether or not the ordeal was universal. I was simply acknowledging the person's post which stated the fact that 'world' is interchangeable with 'universe', because it's something I say all the time. On this very forum I have called their clash universal and world ending, in fact, I did so in the same post. Each term sounds and functions better in it's own context. One would call something "world ending" because "universe ending" sounds silly and unnecessary. The battle was confirmed to be universal in the previous episode, why do I need to continue calling their tussle universal when a more common, shorter, and flexible word like 'world' will do?

As far as the actual context of the word 'world' in DBS is concerned, I care not. I was simply acknowledging the synonymous relationship between two words, because it appeared to be something only one person knew. You all are free engage in such pointless and fruitless contests if you want. As always, I just urge you to relax and enjoy yourselves. 🙂

*Couldn't care less*

If you could care less that means you care some.

You are right, that is indeed an error on my part. You are a keen observer for catching it. Thank you

This is also a true statement. Just like in real life, a giant high energy star will compress to the size of a very tiny object and become, suprisingly enough, "super high density energy" that is in fact, more powerful. This information is easily "Googleable" for those who are in disbelief that old Kai's description of what was happening was more scientifically accurate than what one would expect from Dragon Ball, at least in that regard.

You are right that it was not causing universal destruction, but that energy was the same energy that was causing universal destruction the episode before. Just because the energy was more concentrated to an area does not mean it was weaker than before.

But yea after that energy struggle there was no longer a threat to the universe.

Wait is that really a quote from Herms? If so then that energy ball was indeed universal.

I am referring to the energy emitted during their beam-struggle. It was not universal.

It was universal. Up until it was condensed.

Okay, I guess I need to be as precise as possible:
I am referring to the energy emitted during their [super-condensed-energy-beam-struggle in ep.13.] It was not universal.

I think we are in agreement there. 👆

haha Yup we are 👆

The stronger they got, the less destructive they were.

That farce should not be considered universal on the grounds that it is the most pathetic excuse for a "beam" struggle to have ever graced animedom. Toei sucks. Why do they have DBS? =(

I'm confused about the Herms quote though. Is that a real quote?

sorry im not entirely clear on what the agreement is. are we agreeing that the shockwaves of the beam struggle is not universal but the explosion potentially was?

oh my bad here the link to his twitter the time for the statement was oct 3 if im correct

//twitter. com/ Herms98 (sorry i can't post links apparently)

Try putting the link as your signature, then.

Glad we can all agree,

DBS shit stomps on all the haters.

Isn't RoF suppose to be made available for purchase on PSN today? I can't seem to find it.

Last episode of DBS was beastly. Beerus is a beast. Looks like Hercule is going Super Saiyan next episode.

He's probably going super saiyan cause he's telling the story of how he beat Beerus... haha

Lol...probably but the title name is 'the power of a Super Saiyan God'. So Goku might make him into a Super Saiyan or something.

Obviously this will be the case. That's why Beerus was also depicted as a Vampire-thing:

Anyway, terrible art but somewhat fluid animation in this episode... Which is strange. The Kamehameha-spam was ridiculously annoying. I also thought it was odd that there was no mention of Whis' relationship to Beerus, and/or the greater DB multiverse--I guess those, rather important, plot-points will be revealed later in the series. /shrug

All-in-all this was a disappointing and inferior retelling of BoG, imo... Maybe the RoF arc will be decent. Glad we finally get some new content next week, though. 👆

Gohan straight up says that this is Hercule's telling in the preview.

Goku can't turn people into another race.

Also the first 5 minutes of fighting in this episode I thought was a great fight scene. That's what it should have been the whole time
