Well, per the Manga, Frieza is suppose to have a Galaxy level ft. If this happens, especially in his first form, this will put DBZ on an entirely different level than any character in existence imo. Frieza doing anything Galaxy level in his first form (hell, his last form) put a lot of weight on the thought process of DBZ characters.
Sigh. So obsessed with feats lol.
I think Ridley is talling about Frieza being a real threat and not just be considered an annoyance by Goku and Vegeta, let alone Whis and Bill.
Then again I'm glad he wasn't the big bad guy he thought he was. His time is long gone. He is lucky Akira even decided to give him his own movie.

Bringing back Frieza was obviously to make the series more nostalgically profitable, but if they do that, at least do it... better than they did (RoF was, as you said, Toriyama parodying his own stuff). Now, am not that eager for feats as some here, but do like what I'm hearing about the Frieza galaxy thing. Hope that moment from the manga passes over to the anime, because the fights with Frieza in the movie were ass... Quite a step down from Beerus's fights, IMO at least.
I liked seeing the z-fighters get the spotlight and I really liked Goku's fight with Frieza, especially one inch punch he used =D Was good to see Vegeta get some payback on Frieza, even if Goku went and stole the thunder like usual lol.
I'm more concerned about the quality of the animation taking a huge drop like the beginning of Goku vs Beerus in Super.

The way Goku 'lost' to Frieza was anticlimactic though. I wanted Frieza to beat him legit, if he was to at all. I remember the trailers first leading me to believe that would be the case. lol... So Frieza catches up by training for 4 months but conveniently not long enough for his body to get used to the golden form, so he gets a huge stamina problem from using it? Weak. 😬
Yep, there is that too...

For one of those fan films, eh, I guess I liked it. The Cell vs Trunks part was kinda dope for the budget the whole thing must've had.
Frieza instantly fingerbanging Planet Vegeta is canon
It appears Trunks vs Frieza from the anime is canon as well and if so it adds some more to the battle.
The lowered ki thing got Goku pretty much one shotted by Whis which doesn't bode well for them replacing the laser. Hopefully it's Frieza's death beam... also Whis is strong enough to stop two huge blows from Goku and Vegeta with his thumb and pinky at the same time with the same hand.
And Ginyu Frog
Goku and Vegeta actually spar next episode and it appears they go blue. That means they get the blue form around the time Frieza first starts training. Which is even more outrageous how he caught up considering they have 4-6 months of hard training with that form and in 6 months of training Vegeta got God level... now he's actually training with an equal and Whis. So, lol
First Form Frieza is probably Buuhan level or something at least.
