This is why a creator of a famous franchise should never cave in to fans stupidity.
The story of Goku was meant to end with Cell. The era of Gohan was the next step, but Akira gave in made Goku the main character again.
Vegeta's character development go so messed up, it's even worse than whore getting a train ran on her.
Unlike Goku, Gohan wasn't so 1 dimensional as a character. Fighting wasn't all he cared for. He was fighter while at the same wanting a normal life.
DBS is even worse since Akira is focusing on only Goku and Vegeta, while magically forgetting everyone else.
Gohan who is by far at the end of the Buu saga the strongest non fused character is nothing but a fodder for mere underling to slap away.
I miss the days when DB fights were more about the Martial Arts and not just shooting blast willy nily and taking 5 eps just to power up.

Still enjoy this series but I don't suck Tori's dick and act like it's perfect either. Most, if not all of Squall's criticisms there were valid.
And I guess this should go without saying, but the animation of how they showed Planet Vegeta exploding looked piss poor compared to how the old Toei would've done it...

Wouldn't be surprised if he was able to, tbh. Full force, direct hit... why not.
Super Buu alone had immense power. Add Goten, Trunks, Kamiccolo and Gohan and you have enough power to potentially one-shot Gohan.

It was a rush scene in super. It wasn't meant to be shown in a lot of detail. Especially since everyone already knew what happened.
