In all fairness, that's from the Janemba movie, which had some of the best animation and effects in DB.

That Super episode was outsourced to some Filipino studio. Which if you've been to any fast food place over the last few years you'd notice they don't do good work. But I mean, they'll do it for cheap so what do you do about it?

Personally, I like Goku's Ostrich legs... Gives his donkey kick extra powa. 👆

****ing chills man. I remember watching this scene as a kid and this song came on, that's when i truly fell in love with the series. The only thing that came close was Cell's theme.

I always liked Gohan's SSJ2/Mystic theme.

But nothing beats Goku's original SSJ theme, imo:

The SS3 theme with the 5 minute scream solo is pure hype.

Never was a fan of Faulconer's scores. I always wished they used the music from the Japanese version instead. But, I will admit, his score is far better then DBS's. DBS's score is absolutely atrocious.

Well Akira is only writing one part. And the anime and manna differ on things.... So who knows. Also Akira never remembers what he says. Also Gotenks comes out enough he should at least still have ssj3.... Or he suddenly got depowered.

I guess we can only imagine how a Beerus theme by Faulconer and so forth would go. =(

Anyway, hope the Super Dragon Balls play into the story in a way we don't necessarily expect. I like the concept of them.

This is facepalm worthy.

Gotenks is a fusion, so he's a special case. However, Toriyama was very specific that Goku would likely no longer use SSJ2-SSJ3 again:
Goku endlessly keeps getting stronger, with Super Saiyan 3 in the manga and Super Saiyan 4 in the anime; does Super Saiyan keep getting limitlessly stronger too? Might we eventually see things such as a Super Saiyan 5...?!

AT: Super Saiyan 2 and 3 are nothing more than powered-up variations of Super Saiyan. After the fight with Beerus, Goku realized that mastering his normal state and Super Saiyan would raise his level more and sap less strength, so I think he probably won't become Super Saiyan 2 or 3 any more.

Essentially, said forms are a waste of energy in Toriyama's eyes, and Goku can actually boost his power more than the transformations would allow just by further mastering his base and SSJ levels.

Granted, I suppose you could argue that the word 'probably' makes his statement questionable, but he still made his stance on further SSJ transformations very clear, imo.

Hmmm well then. Lets see if he remembers this later on.

SS3 and 2 make no sense with what we know so far of the transformations anyway. It seems Blue is just accessing the full power of the God Form.

Though SS2 would look really neat.

Also I'm curious to see how the Dragon Balls are moved. They're moving them across dimensions. Are they just stored in the staff? And is Vados permanently making them levitate around Earth?

Can someone who has been following DBS closer than I have tell me:
-Aside from their size, how are the Super Dragon Balls different from the others? Are they more powerful or what?
-Why does Champa want them? What's his wish?

They were made by a god dragon and he will grant you one wish. That's all anyone knows. Also the seven balls are scattered through 6th and 7th universe. So there isn't two versions like the Z fighters tried to find. I'm sure they'd be more powerful cause of it being made by a god dragon. They are also the original ones. Namekians stole the idea from it basically.

As for why Champa wants them. Hasn't been said but it can't be good. And probably has to do with getting rid of beerus and he will most likely win the tournament and become the main villain. But this is just my thought.

So they haven't really answered any questions yet? Interesting.

When I first heard the 'Super Balls' were going to be a thing, I figured they'd be similar to the Black Star Balls(from GT) in terms of power: ie. they can grant absolutely any wish... Just didn't know if anything to that effect had been mentioned yet.

I'm sure the wish will be used to either get rid of Beerus, or to simply make Champa the most powerful God in the universes... In which case that will be a perfect opportunity for Goku/Vegeta to ascend to even greater levels of godhood. facepalm

I will laugh enthusiastically when Beerus becomes fodder, though.

Well its only really been two issues, and the one they got answers from they squandered five questions out of six on meaningless drivel and only got info on what they are and that there is one set for both universes. Champa hasn't went all evil monologue on us yet either. And then the newest issue is just the test Vegeta made the contestants take, and Buu failing, and Goku fighting and not having a challenge.

In the anime Champa now wants them to switch Earths with universe 6 for the food it seems.

His original reason isn't stated. Though they can grant any wish apparently and switching planets is a feat beyond any of them, though that may have to do with keeping the planet alive since again they're already moving planet sized balls across universes.

That's what it was in the manga too.

I want Vegeta to have a transformation similar to Ascended saiyan but it should be only his.

Kinda like how Goku had SSJ3 and Gohan had mystic.

Toiling for decades just to find them suddenly decides to use these godly Dragonballs to move a planet for its food over to his world... Even though they can somehow move planet sized things between worlds already. Either Champa is an idiot or he wants people to think he is. Because with no master plan why was he finding the super Dragonballs.

Yeah curious what the original reason was.

I have a feeling they'll be some locked up super evil even more powerful than Whis that they want to free. Or what I was thinking when watching "Who were the parents?" Which would go into something to do with their father. Freeing him, reviving him. Who knows?

Spitballing here though.

The answer to the planet moving can be answered by them wanting to preserve the life on the planet though. While they can move the mass, they can't keep the atmosphere and the like. srug

Well there has been references to if Goku and Vegeta worked together they could beat Beerus. So maybe something will happen and make them actually work together after all the times in Super/RoF it been brought up. Like every other episode

Going through all the trouble to acquire the Super Balls, just to get access to the food of earth, would be absolutely idiotic. It would just solidify the stupidity of DBS.

Even though it is a played-out theme in DB, using the Balls to either make Champa uber-powerful, or to revive a powerful big bad, would be SO much better.
