Battle of the brave
Are it only the saddest songs
i can sing
about the rights and wrongs
of a fallen king
on a checkerd field
the pawns all dance
the guards draw their shields
the little pawns don't stand a chance
king and queen
passing by the tower
shotgun in between
little pawns got the power
yesterday they cried
for the glorious revolution
today they died
another execution
on a checkered field
nobody can dance
intentions revealed
they never had the chance

I found this one a few months ago, during my research about King Arthurs legends, it's titled "The Quest"
The Impossible Dream (The Quest)
To dream the impossible dream
To fight the unbeatable foe
To bear with unbearable sorrow
To run where the brave dare not go.
To right the unrightable wrong
To be better far than you are
To try when your arms are too weary
To reach the unreachable star
This is my quest, to follow that star,
No matter how hopeless, no matter how far
To be willing to give when there's no more to give
To be willing to die so that honor and justice may live
And I know if I'll only be true to this glorious quest That my heart will lie peaceful and calm when I'm laid to my rest
And the world will be better for this
That one man scorned and covered with scars
Still strove with his last ounce of courage
To reach the unreachable star.
I've heard that some where before! its quite sad.
ok another that I'm improvising!
in my head the riddle plays.
I will it to go, but still it stays!
its persistance irritates me.
if only from my point of view you could see.
over and over circle my thoughts,
over and over I hear the voice,
forever and ever I long to rejoice.
but the riddle distracts me
can you solve it for me?
in the end it remains,
only one can answer...
that one being me!
