I hesitate to speculate. I'll ask Ant tho.

Suuuuuure.

Valkorion bandwagon tbh

Spoiler:
idk y peeps b thinking this is stupid. This is Bioware's clean slate, their final opportunity to validate their insofar crappy game.

Swtor was mainly great though.

Not objectively. Moat Bioware fans play Bioware games for their storytelling, and the majority of fans find SWTOR's story to be inadequate, hence the clean slate. They'd have no need for such radical measures if Bioware fans enjoyed the story already.

Lol "objectively." I thought most of the story in Swtor was pretty good. It suffers from typical MMO problems of "go here, do this, repeat 4 times" but I enjoyed it for it's merits. The character's were cool, it was really fun getting to roleplay such a wide variety of classes, it had some epic plotlines and lore. I liked it.

This is not bioware's attempt for a clean slate. They should have done that before the cluster**** of SWTOR. This just makes it seem like they're thinking in realtime.

I don't think there was a single plotline that I liked. Havok squad was cool and some of the TOR books were good but the game itself couldn't structure a good story

Guess that's your problem. I can't think of a single plotline I didn't like. Knight wasn't too good but it built up to an epic showdown and I had fun roleplaying it. Consular was really cool with the Act I mystery and then the Children storyline. Smuggler was hilarious and a fun romp. Trooper was probably my least favorite but I still enjoyed being a soldier and roleplaying military shit. Inquisitor was awesome and it was great to be a cackling villain rising to power. Warrior was cool for being like an honorable Dark Knight character. Bounty Hunter had a great Act I villain and I really like Mako and collecting difficulty bounties and shit. And Agent was the best class story in the game.

I could probably go further and write up mini-reviews for each class and maybe even some thoughts on the companions, but lets just leave it that I genuinely enjoyed the plot of the game. It was a fun Bioware experience, just like all their other games.

Considering BioWare is shut at stories, maybe you just have bad tastes.

Great story like Mass Effect 3? Or did you forget that Bioware doesn't produce gold in all of their games. Because they dont

This is so awesome!

As much as I like the Jedi vs. Sith story it does get a bit repetitive. Introducing an entire new faction like this is genius! It's great when enemies have to team-up to beat a mutual threat, like when Manta Force and Viper Squad had to join forces to fight Mad Karnock. That was so amazing, I still remember how gobsmacked I was when I saw the commercial.

The problem is, this concept itself got repetitive. The last expansion was Jedi and Sith uniting against Revan and then in the patches, against Vitiate and now these guys. And another problem is, Bioware destroy their characters every time they try to present this concept like its a unique idea for SWTOR.

I'm kinda disappointed Arc killed Thex, just because I would have liked to see some botherly duo dynamics when/if the characters fight em.

I find it comical how his eyes just turned yellow like a flip of a switch when he got angry.

Eh it was kinda already building up throughout.

True but in both of those cases the threat came from "within" in that it was someone previously established. I like that this time it's an entire new menace that has no established links to anyone (seemingly).

Personally that doesn't bother me but yeah, I can see why that would be cause for complaint.

I agree. It would have been better if they were the "final boss" as it were. It doesn't help that their father's design is the definition of generic.

Mass Effect 3 was a good game. Butthurt grognards pissing and moaning about the ending just ignore the quality of the rest of the game because they're twats.

I see you're still hostile towards anyone who dislikes something you like.

y so srs?
