It could not be that they researched her and thought she actually had good ideas.

Nah, it must be their V getting in the way of their critical thinking.

This is disgusting and sexist, I don't care what you think Q.👆

Funny you jump over his other insults, but then again I can't give you credit for being "fair and balanced."

And as you said to me, I say to you, you are only here to jump all over me.

Hypocrite.

Not surprising though, your both in Hilary's dbag.

Has any liberal Clinton supporter here said anything like the post I quoted?

This entire discussion has been about what supporters have been saying elsewhere.

It started because Steinem was interrupted in the middle of a clumsy remark on Real Time with Bill Maher and the media seized on it.

I merely provided the full excerpt of the exchange and explained why I think some of the criticism she has received for it is misplaced.

Was her remark flippant? Yes. Could it have been better worded? Yes.

Are the people seizing on her last sentence while ignoring the paragraphs that preceded it being completely honest in their criticism? I do think so.

I think more of it is people having a knee-jerk response to a headline than anything else, but there are political opportunists who are trying to spin it as way to impugn this woman's character and discredit her for supporting another candidate, and you seem more than willing to go along with it.

Come on TI, you're being silly now. POE was pointing out the sexist criticism many of Clinton's female supporters get in kind. That is if you're a female and you're voting for Clinton, it's only because of some imagined vaginal-bond.

Black people faced similar (racial this time) criticism back in 2008 & 2012 with Obama, that they were only voting for Obama because of a skin-color-bond.

You have shown your true colors.

You must still be waiting for the opportunity to present itself to demonstrate your feminist bonafides.

You didn't just state what Steinem said, you doubled down on it and added your own view of it.

Additionally your claim that you just don't like when people use the Republican talking points to attack Clinton also rings hollow here. No liberal Sanders supporters here go for the Republican anti-Hillary talking points, which are mainly "Clinton has no successes", "Benghazi", "Email Scandal"... and neither does the Sanders campaign, the grievances with Clinton that Sanders supporters on here have are completely different (being establishment, spotty LGBT record, etc.) ... you disagree with those as well, and vehemently...which is fair enough, it's just disingenuous to pretend that that is not what's happening.

Anyways, interesting article of some female Sanders supporters reacting to Steinem's and Albright's statements: http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2016/02/07/hillary-is-confused-about-feminism-bernie-supporters-say.html?via=twitter_page

Personally I also think that rather than it being because of gender, or because of "looking where the boys are", young people like Sanders particularly cause he talks about one of the biggest issues they have, which is college debt and free education.

Well Damn, this is a great post.

So you are resorting to "you have a small penis" insult, after I destroyed your stupidity.

Thanks for the win.

Karl Rove and American Crossroads have spent millions of dollars on television advertisements casting Clinton as an establishment candidate, highlighting her Wall Street donations, criticizing her Iraq war vote, and her evolution on LGBT rights.

Conservatives are not going to vote for her regardless, that is why they have not bothered to attack her for being progressive. Instead, they are attacking her from the left, so that liberals will support Sanders. That is why they have yet to run a single negative ad against him.

These so-called liberal criticisms, that do not apply to other progressive Democrats such as Joe Biden, Barrack Obama, and Jeanne Shaheen, are nothing more than regurgitated right-wing talking points.

That last time you claimed a win, you actually owned yourself twice. You do not really have a good track record with this.

(Humor) Chris Christie drops out of the race to focus on what he really cares about- tormenting Marco Rubio

This is the best humor article I've seen this election 🙂

You... do realize Adam was being clearly sarcastic about other people being disgusting and sexist, and aimed at the people who disregard people who think women can't be supporting for the issues, only gender, right?

I.e. bringing it up specifically to skewer what was sexist and bad about the argument.

He said 'Total lulz, amirite?', it wasn't subtle.

Right!

This is a big thing- at the end of the day, most people vote for issues. It tops attitude of the candidates, scandals, and all that other stuff in the decision process.

What someone thinks of someone personally may be a modifier, but it's policy which is almost always the biggest draw.

A reddit user dissects Rubio's debate style and specifically what went wrong last time- and how Christie was able to nail him on it

We need to dispel once and for all with this fiction that Barack Obama doesn't know what he's doing. He knows exactly what he's doing.

People thought their streams were glitching.

Oh, in a campaign event, he glitched again:

Have you ever thought your view is completely wrong about how things transpire?

lol at the Chris Christie article.

It's true that some Anti-Hillary Republican groups have hit her on these issues, but not because that's something Republicans care about. These groups dislike Hillary and probably think that they could defeat Sanders handily in the general election, but the points they use to attack Hillary are points that progressives care about (which is not to say that they are right in these criticisms, but they are definitely different from the constant attacks that, for example, the Republican candidates mount at Clinton.

But maybe let me ask you this. You obviously think there are valid attacks on Sanders, since you have used some in the past. What do you think are valid criticisms of Clinton that Sanders supporters can put forth?

Sure, which is why I like to check from multiple sources and pay attention to who the sources are. Heck, if things seem to be going like I expect, I take it as a sign to step back and check for alternate angles in case I'm missing something.

Why, don't you?

On the 'people vote on the issues' thing, though, it is something I'm pretty sure of. And, heck, it really is the point of electing someone into place- to get policies enacted. We're basically hiring someone for a job, what they do in the job is the natural main question.

Christie has not done himself really any favors by attacking Rubio. NH ain't going for it.

The article you posted was hilarious and I could not stop laughing, but thats where it ends for Christie.
