And our population is 66 million and ours is 320 million.

So ours is actually less.😂

We literally went through this before...do you really not know how statistics work?

I do, but I can tell you don't.

TI, seriously, why even bother? At this point you're just making a fool of yourself. You obviously can't read a simple statistic yet you continue to defend your position?

That's why he used per capita to take into account the differences in population.

Let me assist you:

"Murder rate per 100,000 inhabitants:"

Move to France then if everyone is so scared of violence.

I mean your rocking a sig of a crazed lunatic hell bent on destruction of a city.

What demographic accounts for the most violence per capita in America their smart guy?

Not sure what "US demographics" have to do with the comparison of France and US murder rates.

But do you understand the "per 100,000" statistic? France is several times safer than the US when it comes to murder.

how does this pertain to the discussion at hand? The violence rates were used to show that countries do not inherently become more violent due to heavy gun controls.

No I am actually a little hazy on that, refresh my memory.

People have been killing each other since time immemorial.

Guns change nothing.

They make it considerably easier.

And? Cars kill more people then anything else, but makes our lives easier..

Yes, and we make people get driver's licenses.

It is easier to kill someone with a gun than it is to kill someone with a wooden spear. So yes guns do change things otherwise we never would have adopted them for killing to begin with.

Yep, even to illegals.

Yep, even to illegals.

So we agree, most weapons should be banned, and a few should only be attainable with tough to acquire licenses.

My car analogy destroys this argument to be honest.

We came up with cars to make life easier and they are the #1 cause of death in the word.

Cars are literally the most dangerous thing you can do.

Lets put things in a different light.

Do you know I have over 500 solo skydives and wing suit jumps mind you, and I will probably hit 10,000 in my life and still be safer then driving a car every day of my life..

I never said weapons should be banned, and unless you can overturn the second amendment, fat chance.

Edit: tobacco is the #1 in US.
