I'll probably have a team tonight and a completely different team tomorrow.....Darksaint is rubbing off on me.

Its so hard.

But yeah, the shorter the timeframe, the less chance we start swapping endlessly. We all knew we were in this, so we should have at least SOME idea of who to pick.

Plans. You guys, I've been winging this the entire time.

I do have....4-5 guys I'm looking at. Just nothing resembling a strategy or team once all chosen.

Yeah that's what I mean....a rough pool, rather than the 30odd characters to pick.

Also means the groundwork (scan collecting etc) can be started earlier.

Thanks for your 2 cents. I also suggested your opinion as carver was only using your scans (am assuming you go by the username 'comicsage' on photobucket). So if anyone, you'd have the best handle on what was happening.

If it comes to the vote, I say nay for Surfer at Low, or even Mid.

Carver we are going to look at drafts in a case by case scenario. We are not going to make wanton rulings this deep in the tournament.

Understandable. Just want to see where everything stands because some of the people listed as Mid Herald could possibly pull majorities against High Heralds or a split. Trying to make things fair here. That's all.

Also, I'm not trying to make a "wanton ruling", all the people im talking about have been drafted at some point and I just want them discussed before the draft closes in case there's a last minute switch.

Just realised, Would New 52 Martian Manhunter be too powerful (the version I'm drafting). Just saw Smurph had clarified, whereas I hadn't.

Have talked myself out of Martian Manhunter - DCnU would probably be too high for a Mid-Herald, considering what he's done.

Honestly I have issues with MMH being mid herald even pre flashpoint. Jobbing aside power wise he's up there with every high herald.

Since your dropping a mid herald choice if it were me I'd go with Metamorpho over Plas. Has all the same capability but a LOT more versatile (and after all your allowed 1 mid Herald in a 3 man mix)

Tbh, nobody here questioned him, so I could still pick him up if needed...

Who else disagrees with MMH at Mid?

Bear in mind, the tiering system also takes into account their weaknesses. Yes, MMH has power...but fire is a big weakness.

Not to mention, his character as well.

Besides...Plastic Man I disallow, due to the functional immortality rule.

But yes, barring you - some neutrals would be better placed than you to give an opinion. After all, what's stopping other contenders - or even me - from disallowing characters I don't like?
