Okay first thing is Superman can fight at super speed. He's used it, albeit sparingly. Like when he fought Mongul. But the thing is he has shown he can move and react at super speed, it's silly to try to argue he can't throw a punch at super speed. It makes NO SENSE whatsoever. If all he did was fly fast you'd have a point, but he doesn't.
But it doesn't mean Doomsday can defeat Sentry, who is far above him at his strongest.

His best feat against Mongul using him as a sparring partner is to hit him five times while speaking a complete sentence.
Any human character can do the same.
I've flat out seen scans of Superman blitzing. I don't have access to them and can't remember the issue, but from what I remember of the art style it was from the Superman/Batman series.
He has also blitzed Wonder Woman. She is standing in front of a machine Superman built. He is on the other side of the room. He doesn't want her to destroy it, but she wants to destroy it. She raises her weapon and before she can bring it down onto the machine Superman speeds over and ***** slaps her away. How does this not show he can fight at super speed?

No, when he actually fought Mongul afterwards he was easily using his speed to avoid Mongul, there is a scene where Mongul goes to hit him and supes speeds away and is on the other side of Mongul. This is just after he'd used his speed to take out Bizarro. So no, humans can't do that.

Travel speed is one thing, but you have other things. Superman is flat out using speed to avoid Mongul's punches, that isn't travel speed. How you could interpret it as travel speed is beyond me.

The Flash at the time was nowhere near as fast as he would later become. This is a case where Sentry at his height..speed doesn't matter. At least not the speed Doomsday has.

That's still unimpressive.
It clearly shows him moving and reacting at super speed during a fight. It shows he can use his speed in combat situations.
Also for me travel speed is if you're doing nothing but flying in a straight line. For instance Superman has saved Lois Lane from a sniper bullet...he heard the bullet, reacted and flew to where she was to stop it. But he also had time to go and get ear plugs and put them in her ears(I forget why, maybe the gunshot was loud?). When you have time to do shit like that..it's more then travel speed. You're performing tasks at super speed.
For what it's worth this feat happened during the time he had his fortress in the Amazon.
