DOS Doomsday vs Sentry

And yes, it's more than twenty times. You can see the afterimages fading in the background.

Learn to read.

Abhi is owning.

Also this guy should be reported, he just keep making excuses after excuses. Clearly incapable of recognize that he is wrong.

Talking panels 😂

So the troll is still proving me right? Good job guys for the patient to deal with someone of his ilk.

We are getting a large number of reports from this thread. People need to stay civil or grow thicker skins. Disagreeing over topics is not trolling each other nor should it require mod intervention or rulings. I will close this thread if it doesn't shape up and I know there have already been threats of bannings by the other mods. So keep that in mind as well.

I personally think RealityWarper is making some valid points myself but to each their own I guess. srug

I will go straight to the point :

Doomsday, Hulk, Thor, Sentry, Gladiator, Superman, Hyperion, Colossus, Juggernaut, etc...

All of those bricks & powerhouses are similar when it comes to the combat speed and that means that they aren't faster than any human being when it comes to close-quarters combat.

This could have been the turning point of KMC. The day when the Church of Gamma, the Thor Corps, the Golden Guardians...hell, even the Independents, all united against this post.

But no. The dream is dead.

We don't give people fts Galan. It just doesn't work like that here. That is the reason I'm asking for evidence.
Just saw this.

Is it possible to die from an irony-attack?

Okay this is beginning to get genuinely depressing. Aside from Superman speed arguments, is anyone actually trying to say Sentry doesn't win?

But we return to your first analogy, that of the Rubik's cube guy being a fast fighter.

That's still muscle memory. Even fighters rely on muscle memory - hence the sparring, and the drills, and the katas they do day in, day out.

Rubik's cube players practice constantly as well.

None of the examples used are actually any good - because they have practised 10,000 hours to become an expert. Hence, cross-training is impossible. Starcraft players aren't good fighters, nor are Rubik's cube solvers, or people who can play the piano blindingly fast.

Superman hasn't practised catching bullets (that I am aware of). He just does it.

He hasn't practised speed reading. Or bullet catching. Or any of the other things.

So HIS speed is NOT muscle memory - I'm sure the circle jerkers at DC would lovingly detail it if they could. Hell, Abhi would be the first to post it.

But he doesn't use muscle memory like the expert Starcraft players et al. He just does it.

He doesn't use speed at all.

So now panel is stretched, eh? I wonder what else you're going to bring.

Fortunately, the writer made it clear that both Superman and Orion were punching at Supersonic speeds.

At this point, you're a joke who is pulling excuses out of his ass.

But do continue, I'm enjoying this.

I would like that you tell me in what it's more than a character statement because :

1) Superman is the only one to strike and the schockwave of the punch is already enough to produce damage to shatter the stuff around.

2) Orion isn't striking back but at Superman the whole time that they are going underground.

3) The journalist has no view of the fight and literally no meaning to verify his claims as measuring that's the speed of the punches that shatters everything.

4) The journalist is here to back-up a sensationalist event and rise up the audimat.

The whole claim is more than very dubious.

It's fun because when it's about Tony Stark saying that Sentry is the equal of HOM Wanda even he worked with Bob during years and was the National Secretary at Defense you say it's not true.

Now a dubious journalist whom has no meaning to verify his claims makes sense to you.

Nice double standards.

Superman is slow.

Just deal with it.

This is weird, I tend to see people highballing Supes here, but now someone is trying to lowball him.

I'll give you this: you have gone above and beyond to try to prove Superman doesn't have super speed, despite all the feats brought up.

I mean I admire your dedication to being wrong.

So how is he speed reading? Catching bullets etc?

This is just an insane discussion. No Superman isn't someone who is as fast as the Flash, but yes he has high end super speed.

People have certainly lowballed Superman. But I think this is the first time I've ever seen someone argue Superman is slower than Batman in combat speed. People try to argue his speed isn't that great? Sure. But he's slower than a high-level but otherwise normal human? Nope, not at all.

You DID see his point that Glads/Hyperion/Hulk have no superspeed, right?

All his arguments are also valid for those characters....

He saw it, but didn't process it as such.

Carver might edit the thumbs down. That would be glorious.

So now you ignore direct on panel statements as well?

Good to know.

2) Orion isn't striking back but at Superman the whole time that they are going underground.

Why would we need to verify it? Are you some kind of detective?

4) The journalist is here to back-up a sensationalist event and rise up the audimat.

Haha, what? This isn't real if you are not aware.

The whole claim is more than very dubious.

No, it's not. You are once again pulling excuses out of your ass.

It's fun because when it's about Tony Stark saying that Sentry is the equal of HOM Wanda even he worked with Bob during years and was the National Secretary at Defense you say it's not true.

So now throwing red herrings too?

Good. Good.

Now a dubious journalist whom has no meaning to verify his claims makes sense to you.

Haha, "I'm just going to ignore anything and everything".

Deal with what? Your opinion?

Complain to DC who has him comparable to Flash in speed.

Nobody cares about what you think. At this point you're a complete joke.
