No, the bullet didn't pierce his GLOVE. Looks like armored gloves to me.
.38 rounds don't really hit that hard vs armor. Getting shot with a .38 at point blank while wearing kevlar would bruise you badly, but won't break any bones unless you're very unlucky or have weak bones. Plus it hitting his hand meant he had the ability to turn and dissipate most of the energy of the shot. Which is what he did.
Force hitting his hand equaling 1/5th what a power punch can do, stuns him and send him on the ground rolling. Owch. So much for durability eh?

Ozy wasn't pushed back he spun and rolled down some stairs. Probably so she wouldn't feel the need to keep shooting.

That metal in that vest was considerably more thick than the leather on Ozy hand... but you knew this.

I know Vibranium is fictional. Vibranium soaks in impact, not the metal in Buckys arm.
My point was that you said Bucky was not pushed back because of his metal arm. Just because its metal doesnt mean the force of assult rifle bullets wont be felt. Or be able to push you back a bit. Bucky didnt move an inch. In fact he was coming forward.

The glove was obviously in pristine condition after catching the bullet but we can't speculate on why that is considering nothing would make sense... if hes as weak as you say he is his hand would be broken... if the glove had metal underneath the leather would still be compromised.
Yes you can pierce objects without piercing what they're inside... nothing new about that
