Makes me happy that took less than a day to get on youtube.

Speaking of Zombie mountain, hoping we get to see what's under the bonnet this season.

I'm guessing it's the severed dwarf head Qyburn picked up a season back that he sewed on as the most likely theory. Or alternatively, the dwarf's skull was sent to Dorn and Gregor kept his head and it's full on zombie Mountain or just mostly dead mountain under all that armor.

Did they even send Gregor's head to Dorne in the show? I don't remember it being mentioned or shown.

They did not. Because no one wants justice for Elia. They're too busy killing each other.

you mean you're jacking my guess and claiming it as your own.

Look at you trying to claim Robs original ideas as your own. You should be ashamed.

hehe...yeah

oh no what if ser robert strong is going to have that dwarf's head. you know, the faux-tyrion head that qyburn took.

man that would suck

Two things:

1) I didn't imply it was my original thoughts, hence "most likely theory"

2) I heard it first on the interwebs <-clicky

Well, if nothing else, the sword fighting sequence itself looked way better than any of the combat sequences from previous seasons, so it looks like they stepped their game up there at least. Previous seasons had a lot of wood chopping going on during the fighting.

you were obviously part of that conversation, which took place very shortly after the episode aired.

it's no big deal as i'm sure many many other people drew that same conclusion on their own. you were not one of those people, however. 🙂

TIL: 2015 came before 2012

2012? not sure what you're on about but the episode in question was from season 5.

Anything would be an improvement from the nonsense Sand Snakes fight.

thought so 😉

The link I linked you to is prior to 2015. I thought that was self explanatory.

Is it weird if I could just never really get into this show? I've tried numerous times but I just can't seem to do it. Everyone raves about it and then I just feel bad I can't get into it.

sorry, i didn't notice your stealth edit. i'm not very good at checking for stealth edits.

non-stealth edit: also, you should read it again because the question in the 2012 thread was 'who's skull was sent to dorne", not "who's head is on ser robert strong".

you have to acquire a taste for never-ending disappointment and heartbreak.

I had forgotten just how awful that was. The choreography and cuts/editing is shocking really. But most of the fights in previous seasons have been lacking. Even the Mountain/Oberon fight, which was probably one of the better ones from the previous seasons, wasn't that good.

HYG:

I assumed he had replaced the head. Possibly with one of the dwarve's heads that had been delivered to them (possibly Penny's brother). Isn't that what Qyburn has been hinting his experiments were leaning towards? Plus, it would be the kind of dark humor that feels right for these books.

Three possible options as I see it.

1. The skull is that of Penny's brother, the dwarf with the oversized head, or some other poor chap whose head was bigger than average.

2. The skull is Greggor's and Robert Strong doesn't have a head.

3. The skull is Greggor's and someone else's head is sewn to Greggor's body.

Frankly I hope it is 3 just because I think that would be the creepiest.

edit: Post 9 and 12 of the thread

an emotionally mature person would have just given credit for their idea where it was obviously due, instead of lying and turning google/wiki-warrior...but no matter. you can keep it. it's a stupid idea anyway and i hope it never comes true.

An emotionally mature person would have seen that I did give credit. :/
