When will you be seeing it, Surt?

Wow your dumb. The movie was great. Having a woman leading is great. People that might not like it like you doesn’t mean they are sexist pig.

Also your an unstable poster who runs off the deep end frequently

It's hilarious to see them cling to what people on the fringe think and act like it's a common opinion. Makes me smile.

I can't predict when I'll be seeing it, but I wasn't laughing at the fact you're seeing it. I was laughing at your "Bruce is putting people on notice". Pure gold.

Robs turned into a fcking cheerleader. He’s recruited trolls to make fake accounts to troll me.

Lol what? Who did he recruit? This is the first I'm hearing of this.

Go look in the GDF

I heard a lot of mixed reactions about this film

Does that go both ways, are there also people giving it better reviews than it deserves in an effort to counteract what they view as "trolls"?

There was 2 in the same 5 pages that I read so yes.

That's why it's best to just watch it and decide yourself.

Personally I would place it middle table for the MCU movies. I preferred it over The First Avenger, Thor Dark World, all the Iron Man films (I realize 1&2 are universally liked but I didn't take to them) as well as Ant Man. Also didn't like Dr Strange.

I much prefer the first GotG, Avengers 1, Ragnarok, Winter Soldier, Civil War and Infinity War

I'd put it in the middle with GotG2, Thor 1, Black Panther, Age of Ultron and Spiderman: Homecoming

This is where I am at. I would but this at a 8 out of 10. I won’t however be going back to see it twice like I did IW.

I'll tell you this: if I was really looking forward to this and planning to see it on the first or second day it came out these reviews wouldn't deter me.

IMDB has around 9,900 10/10 compared to 8,100 1/10 reviews. how many of each do you think are up/down voting based on bias?

Who knows?!. There's no accounting for genuine taste. But in reality it's neither a 10/10 or a 1/10.

2 of the biggest problems with review scores nowadays is concerted efforts to manipulate them both positively by paying influential reviewers and by activist groups to influence scores both positively and negatively.

Best thing you can do, if you put any stock in reviews and want to know if a film is worth seeing is to find reviewers you usually disagree with and see if they didn't like it. That way you'll know they haven't been paid to give a good review and you generally think their opinion on it is wrong so chances are you'll like it.

Would you say there are more negative reviews not done in good faith compared to good reviews not done in good faith? Or would you say there is more than likely an equal amount(more or less)

I know you an apology, you really didn't do the 'I hope this fails' bit, was someone else. My bad.

Just saw it, it was good honestly, this movie is the victim of some seriously poor marketing. There was a little feminist stuff but it wasn’t at all in the focus of the film... yet it was the focus of the marketing for some ****ing reason, as well as the media hype around it.

Anyone who thinks the movie was hard pushing an agenda is reaching honestly... though anyone pretending that there’s no reason anyone should take issue with Brie Larson’s statements is being willfully ignorant.

She’s a decent actress and I enjoyed her work in this movie, and that’s honestly what she should have focused on instead of intersectional pandering.

People shitting on this movie without seeing it, take note: the movie is not obsessed with intersectionality and feminism.

People upset by the negative reviews and backlash, take note: it’s not because she’s a whamen, it’s not because of misogyny, it’s because people reject the intersectional agenda.

IMO, they knew that while the movie was ok, it wasn't great. so they were hoping that a little controversy would help sell tickets.
