Confirmed via Luke and actor statements. Your own opinion doesn't override what's actually happening.

Quit being upset Snoke, his First Order, and his power is greater than Palpatine.

So Snoke's going to create and control a galactic empire in your opinion? 😂

He goes on to become Darth Cvnt

I think he was jut a prop of 'hope for the future'.

Wouldn't surprise me, considering his similarity with Boy Anakin.

I doubt it was mere coincidence that the end scene focused him!

He was joking.

But if Disney goes full retard, who knows.

Snoke was powerful and got suckered in his first (full) appearance as the Emperor.

TLJ was a *very* poor man's ESB/ROTJ.

Spoiler:
When Snoke made his appearance, at first, in person, I knew he was going to die in this film. After his dialogue with Kylo, I knew it was Kylo that was going to kill him, in this film. Because they don't want to truly write anything new. Kylo = Vader. Vader killed the Emperor. So Kylo has to kill Snoke. There was no imagination. No surprise.

When Luke's father is revealed: damn!

When Luke having a sister is revealed: damn!

When Yoda is revealed to be the great Jedi Master: awesome! We suspected him...right? But then Yoda is too much of a smartass and trouble maker to be an old, wise, great Jedi Master. Contrasts greatly with Obi Wan Kenobi.

When Vader slays younglings after slowly falling to the dark side for years: damn!!! So THAT'S how he truly fell. It wasn't just a quick decision. And it wasn't some nonchalant type thing. It had weight and build up and the fall was quite nasty.

But none of that his happening in these new films. There's no weight. There's no depth to the writing. There's no twists. There's no turns.

You know why that is? The plot is being written by a committee instead of a single creative writer. This committee is governed by RoIs and risk analyses on plots as opposed to just telling a damn good story.

And the writers just do not capture Luke at all.

They really love shitting all over the OT and everything that came from it. What Rebel Alliance? What fall of the Emperor? What redemption of Anakin? What Jedi Knight Luke that didn't fall to the dark side? What Smuggler turned good military leader for the Rebel Alliance? None of it matters. No OT exists. Nothing in the OT had any substance. They just decided to shit all over the OT and f*ck up the best, most heroic character from the OT:
Luke Skywalker.

Merged threads together.

Please stop making threads that can be discussed in the main thread.

Not every scene needs its own thread.

I hate it when I have to repeat to the new SW *potential* fans that they need to start with the OT.

"lol revenge of the sith so shit"

"lol the force awakens sucked my anus"

And so on.

He won't.

It would have been nice if Snoke

Spoiler:
...was the true mastermind behind Darth Plagueis and Darth Sidious. Perhaps a true Sith of the Sith species that lives for 1000 years (which would be a nice explanation for why the Sith just decide to randomly pop up again after being dormant for hundreds of even thousands of years in the Galaxy). And a nice backstory for how he "got these scars." Perhaps Vader found out about the true puppeteer behind Palps back and secretly removed Snoke's influence over Palps thus planting the initial seed for why Vader could be tempted to break away from the dark side?

Anything.

Any ideas that does a bit more to have some sort of planning and thinking beyond what we got would be better.

Fly, I'm sure you'll love this.

He doesn't need a galactic empire. His First Order would annihilate his galactic order. At the trilogy's end I'll battlezone you on this. Snoke and all his resources by trilogy's end vs. Palpatine and all his resources including the Ot, Rogue One, etc. Put your money where your mouth is.

One other thing that I noticed which was odd...

There was a Fit Daisy Ridley and a normal Daisy Ridley.

You could tell when they cut sequences of the filming from the TFA into TLJ.

It appears there is about 15lbs-20lbs going on, there.

I have a sneaking fear that it was due to the SJWs whining about how thin she was. It would take a Hollywood star 2-4 weeks to get fit for a role. It was intentional. And that's sad. Imagine being Daisy: "People are complaining that you are too fit and thin. You are giving young girls an unhealthy expectation of what they should look like. Gain 20lbs before principle filming starts."

Didn't really notice a weight gain. She also looked pretty lean/fit at the TLJ premiere

Saw this photo of her before seeing the movie.

Which is why I think she was forced to gain weight for TLJ.

Watch the movie again. You’ll notice two versions of her.

Thats a pretty shitty thing to say tbh.

She looked way better in TLJ tbh.

Agreed, but not from weight gain, as I didn't really notice one. She just looked less like a young girl, but a woman in this one.

She did.

Welcome, queeq. Welcome to your nightmare.

I definitely noticed her weight gain in TLJ.

In any case I’ve neve found her that be all that looks wise.
