Don't kid yourself. Critics can be biased, too. Plus, I rarely agree with them, so yeah, screw the critics.

It has an A-(minus), which is high yeah.

Iron Man, Iron Man 2 and Jungle Book all got straight A’s.

Id also argue they both had a profound impact on cinema in general.

Hey, why screw the critics? Aquaman is Fresh on RT, whereas you gave it a thumbs down.

Iron Man 2 didn't have a profound impact in the cinemas. it got a sloghtly above ratings across the board. Jungle Book didn't, either. It was good, but not great.

Of course critics can be biased but their biased , saltiness and insanity don't come close to the raging fans using audience scores as a tool for their agendas.

So I rather judge a movie first and foremost by what I think of it and second I would rather choose the lesser of two evils, than acknowledge the audience scores.
General audience scores are Garbo.

Jungle Book was exceptional. As was IM1.

Favreau is easily 5'10, if not taller and 275-300lbs, Wan is maybe 5'2" and maybe weighs 115lbs in boots and wet clothes. Jon would crush him in a fight.

Now in terms of being a director, Favreau is to Wan what Iron Man is to Aquaman, ridiculously better. Not even a comparison.
