Why did Momoa perform a Haka/Maori dance in the premiere? He isnt Maori. Hes German /Samoan raised in Iowa. Maoir or Islanders are not even featured in this movie or have anything to do with it.
Besides Temuera, but his heritage isnt even brought up in the film (that i remember), so his character in the movie is just an American dude that lives in a light house. Why is this movie pushing the Maori/Islander card?

Still, that's like Robert Downey Jr. Performing an Irish dance in the Ironman premiere. Just because Downey Jr. Is part Irish. Pushing the idea that Ironman is an Irish heavy movie even though Irish culture doesn't have anything to do with Ironman.

Why is a weapon called a Trident when it's obvious it' not a freakin Trident during the training scene?

He's going to swim past 900 with ease this weekend. Yea it's a lock for sure now. Japan didn't open yet and it will seal the deal.

Remember how Mary Poppins was supposed to curb Aquaman?

It was crazy for all of them to go up against each other. Aquaman ended up the only one not affected, but they were all being cocky f***s.

That said, was a fun Christmas at the pictures.

This thing is having fabulous legs around the world. #3 in Indonesia, just behind Avengers IW and Furious 7.

I thought Panther did better domestically, but was weaker overseas when compared to say, Avengers.

Not exactly true. I know many expats who teach English in Asian countries. It's harder for blacks to get jobs, but a lot of schools welcome African Americans. They have their prejudices, just like any other country.

What are you talking about? Black Panther made more than 50% of its total domestically.

Aquaman will not even be close to a 50/50.

Clearly BP was bigger domestically and Aquaman is having pretty much all of its success Internationally lead by China.

I'll see it soon in the theater 🙂
