It's at least up for debate - even if you choose to deny the mountain of contextual information in the RotS novel and information pieced together from numerous sources, you have to at least admit that it's debatable. If not, you're clearly much more close-minded than the people you're accusing of being close-minded.

But then again, your logic would suggest that the facts are that blind Kanan stomped Maul in a couple of strikes, so I'm guessing that you're incredibly biased for denying it 👆

He plead for help after Windu reflected his fl back into his face. Palpatine previously acted like he would die until his tactic failed. Then he begged Anakin to help him because let's face it he needed it. Poor pathetic geriatric that he was needed to beg Anakin to save him.

Maul previously blinded him and was about to kill him prior to Tano aiding him. That to me is a stomp. Your definition I'm sure changes depending on the characters being discussed. You really believe yourself objective which I find to be amusing since they are delusions.

Your argument falls apart when you realize that Maul should've one-shotted Kanan in their fight per your logic, yet in their legitimate duel, Maul failed to do that.

I've had the recent fortune of seeing lots of people accuse others of bias and cherry picking and what not... whilst doing it themselves. But of course in your case, you can't see that. Filoni has destroyed Maul in favor of his own pet creations.

They should've left Maul to his TPM incarnation and cultivated his character with more backstory novels.
