What's to take seriously? Some guy telling me that one character is better than another on a forum about a fictional universe where cyborg's wielding 4 lightsabers can be defeated by Gungans?

You spend far too much time on this forum not to take it somewhat seriously.

Well not really. I'm here for a good time and taking this seriously like everyone else will just make me another nerd 🙂

So you're here to troll and not be taken seriously. Understood.

Problem?

Oh and I found one that states straight forward that Dooku is indeed faster than Kenobi at his prime:

"The two droids fired at Obi-Wan, but he batted their fired energy bolts back at them and cut them down as he moved fast for Dooku. Unfortunately, Dooku moved faster, extending his left hand toward Obi-Wan as he used the Force to lift the Jedi off his feet while at the same time constricting his throat."

On the contrary, I approve of your methods. 🙂

Yep. Unfortunately Quanchi needs it word for word to get it being the fundamentalist he is.

Filoni has a hard on for Ahsoka, he's extremely bias. Vader already beat her down, Palpatine would ****ing slaughter her.

I don't have a horse in this race, but actually this quote states nothing of the sort.

Obi-Wan deflects the blaster bolts and then quickly moves to close the gap between him and Dooku, but Dooku Force chokes him. It doesn't follow that Dooku is necessarily faster than Kenobi, merely that he was able to extend his hand and summon the Force faster than Obi-Wan was able to cover whatever distance was between them.

If you're 20 feet away and rush at me, the fact that I can touch my chin faster than it takes you to reach me doesn't mean I'm faster, merely that I can complete my much more limited motion faster than you can complete yours.

The quote doesn't say that Dooku was faster to the Choke than Obi-Wan was to the top of the staircase. It just says that Dooku moved faster.

We're dealing with Quanchi here. He doesn't think in context when the situation doesn't benefit him. As long as it says Dooku is faster, I win. Just like in DD it says that Vos was faster than Dooku, though in context he just barely managed to get out of the way.

And in this instance it was about using his powers quicker. Shorter controlled movements. Kenobi had distance to travel on foot while Dooku just had to use his powers without closing any distance. Game, set, match.

I always embrace the context. Do not lie. You've lost once again.
