Only thing riot gear is good for is bite resistance, imo. Aside from that it has a lot of drawback.

Googled up the population and size of Atlanta, Georgia. Almost half a million people crammed into 134 square miles. Assuming most of them get zombified, there's no way you're gonna avoid contact after firing a gun. I'll pass.

The problem I see with Lucille is the barbed wire wrap. Wouldn't that get stuck in tissue and bone? That would be problematic.

I think I'd take my chances with the Katana. Stealthy kills, single strike take downs (katana strikes are mostly slices, not stabs, and the curve of the blade allows for easy removal from the body), multi purpose tool.

In the comics I don't think Negan ever had an issue with Lucille getting stuck in anyone.. mmm

But the scenerio is us using the weapon, not the characters in the comics/show. Maybe none of you...ahem, I mean none of US are as bad-ass as Negan. 😉

How does the infinite arrows work? Do they disappear after beng shot or do they stay indefinately? Because then you can kinda exploit that in certain situations.

Anyway even without any exploitation I'd take the crossbow.

I still like the riot gear, even with all its drawbacks.

Then again, it's useless if you get swarmed, as Governor got literally torn apart despite being in the suit.

So if you selected the riot gear, that's all you get. So for example, if you stumbled upon a rifle laying on the ground, you couldn't use it.
