The Denver Sheriff's Department on Tuesday defended its release of an illegal immigrant after he posted bond on theft charges only to be arrested for murder weeks later, saying it had no authority to hold him. This beyond infuriates me.Ever Valles, 19, a Mexican national, was released from the Denver jail in late December. Last week he was charged by state prosecutors, along with another defendant, in the murder and robbery of a man at a light rail station this month.
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials said in a statement that after Valles was arrested, it placed a detainer with the Denver County jail to hold him until its agents could take him into federal custody.“The detainer wasn’t honored and he was released by the jail ... without prior notification,” ICE said. “Valles is a known gang member whose gang history is documented in the Colorado gang database.”
Sanctuary cities release criminals (who obviously aren't going to show up for their court date) are free to commit tons more crime in a never ending cycle.
I hope trump clamps the fuk down on sanctuary cities, and any illegal who commits crime, is jailed, then immediately sent back home, no ifs ands or buts.

If someone claims "it rained here last night" and it didn't, they're not vindicated if it happens to rain later on.This is just common sense that any person with even a slightly below average intelligence could understand.
If it did rain you would just blame it on Climate Change.
Which would then be blamed on Trump anyway so...HydeeHoo!

Well remember the narrative is that if we had to pay them legal wages the costs of food would skyrocket. Data is rarely given with these claims. If people find that logic legit, well making all these illegals suddenly legal should have the same effect on prices that getting rid of the illegals from the country would.
70% of agriculture and food processing jobs in the US are done by foreign workers around half of which are illegals.
Increases in labour costs typically result in 2 things. Reduction in jobs or increase in prices or a mix of both.

Correct.
Of course, if you're a liberal then you're overlooking the exploitative factor (As many liberals tend to do on this issue.)

Out of curiosity, why not raise the costs already? Would they really need to the excuse of "well damn, no more illegals for me, gotta hire a legal American and then increase prices" ?
Since it occurs to me if they are such pieces of crap they hire illegal labor and screw over legal Americans, why would they have any qualms about not jacking the prices up as much as they could get away with?

A single producer doing so would soon find themselves uncompetitive and unable to sell their goods to supermarkets, restaurants etc. All of them collaborating to do so would go against anti-trust laws that prohibit forming cartels to fix pricing.

So they can't collaborate to do so, but they can apparently legally do it by merely being forced to not use illegals?
Oh what a wacky system we have. You could almost say they can legally do it..once they begin following the law lol.
