This is technically a cross-genre battle. Bios may not be admissible when it comes to DC/Marvel material, but in the world of DB, bios from noteworthy guides are as canon as the source material itself.
IOW, SPC's Kamehameha did have enough power to destroy the solar system. Cell himself stated such, and the guidebook entry confirmed it.
