He hit the ground with his hammer which called down lightning. Doesn't matter if it was hammer or lightning, you said use the highest feats so I'm using some of Thor's highest feats.

And no, how much weight you can lift does not translate to how much you can hit with. Anyone with even a basic understanding of fighting knows this.

How much weight your arm can lift translates to MORE force in hitting. This is a fact which I already proven. I can prove it again if you missed it.

So you are arguing that if Thor hits her with lightning that she will be affected? Of course I believe that. That's if he manages to hit her with lightning at all. She is way faster than Thor.

Prove it, post the clips that show SG hitting with Bi-Frost levels of force.

You must prove that Bi-Frost levels of force on Thor is more than the force that she can exert (which is in the millions).

There is no need to as she can already lift said amount of force.

You didn't prove anything. You mentioned a bunch of variables and tried to make it sound intelligent. You didn't define your variables, you didn't specify what formulas you were using and you don't even seem to understand the difference between a pull (lift) using your skeletal structure to support the maneuver and a push outside of your skeletal structure (punch). In short, spewing a bunch of letters and numbers is not proving anything.

How much weight your arm can lift does not translate to more force in striking, since the muscles used to lift an object is not necessarily the same muscles you use to deliver a punch.

For you to prove your theory you'll need to a.) qualify all the muscles used by Supergirl in the lifting maneuver she used and then b.) qualify all the muscles used by Supergirl when she throws a punch, then c.) prove that the same muscles are used in scenarios a and b.

As for Thor using lightning, there was no stipulation that he couldn't. So I'm using his charged Mjolnir strikes (which uses both hammer and lightning) as proof of his high end feats. I don't care how he achieves them, point is that he can. Plus it's an AOE attack so doesn't matter which direction Supergirl is coming from. Plus the fact that opponents much slower than Thor have hit Supergirl before.

You're claiming she hits with that level of force, so you have to prove it.

I said she CAN hit with that level of force if we go by the key feat.

So you admit that she's never actually hit with that level of force? but you feel that she should be able to.

A punch is a push with initial velocity. What will cause more damage, someone touching your face with their fist and then pushing you with it using 30lb of force or someone hitting you in the same area with a fist that has 30lb of push force behind it where it starts from 3ft away?

People hit with more force than they can lift for a scientific reason. Think of PSI.

If we take the key feat as her strength level then she can clearly hit with millions of tons of force or more.

Again, are you admitting that she's never actually hit with that level of force, but you feel that she should be able to?

Answer the question, has Supergirl ever been shown to hit with that level of force?

That doesn't answer my question. My question is, has Supergirl ever been shown to hit with that level of force?

That wasn't the question I asked, I asked if Supergirl has ever been shown to hit with that level of force.

Now answer the question.

Your mistake is assuming that just because someone can lift X amount that they can also push (with one arm) an equal X amount.
Skeletal structure has a lot to do with supporting the weight you're lifting, but skeletal structure won't help when pushing something away from you, at least not without proper technique.

There's a reason why the average person can deadlift roughly their own weight but cannot press that same weight over their head. It's even harder to push that amount of weight away from your body laterally especially if you only use your arm muscles.

In general, supporting weight and lifting weight are two different things. To lift a weight requires force overcoming that weight. The muscles supply this force.

Anyway, hitting will give MORE force than lifting. You are arguing that they are not the same (you are creating a strawman). Kara lifted the key casually with one arm. This implies that she can punch with much more force. It will be fairly dumb to casually lift someone with one arm and yet can't apply that same level of force towards punching.

Your argument is outright busted by the fact that people actually punch with more force (PSI) than they can lift with the same arm (even people with bad technique).
