The average person punches with more than 100psi. But lift LESS with a single arm.
There is plenty of evidence where people hit with more force than they can lift with one arm.

We are discussing the fact that if a character can casually lift a weight in a forum (not on screen) then they can easily CASUALLY punch with the same or more force.
We are not discussing whether SG can lift a million tons in a forum. Everyone agreed that she can't. So no one is actually arguing that she can hit with that type of force in a forum.

Now I don't believe SG weighs any more than a normal person. So if she chucks the million ton key at someone at superspeed, then sure the resulting impact will be much more than a million tons.
But given her normal mass, but extraordinary strength, if it proves anything it's that science doesn't really help here. Combat feats is what we need.
Plus what's in character can't be ignored. I mean by all rights we can all agree she should be punching at super speed. But how often does she?

I have proven it.
Striking is a push with initial momentum before collision. It takes equal force as someone's strength to stop the push and additional force to stop the momentum.
I have provided real examples, verifying it. Real people always striking with more force than they can lift.
So basically I proved it with science and with real life examples.
So if you believe that it's possible for someone to be able to lift with more force than they can strike then please post a counter example.

Anyway I never claimed that a person can lift with the same force they can hit with.
I said that a person can hit with MORE force than they can lift with their arm.
If you can lift 50lb with your arm then you can hit with MORE (not equal) force.
Ive proven it using physics and several real life examples. No one here has shown a case of the opposite (a person hitting with LESS force than they can lift).
