It's just a reboot that ignores some bad movies and continues from T2.

Or it's a reboot that is a bad movie unto itself.

And it's also Non-Canon because of the T-800 that was sent back to 1984 - and it's now part of a defunct-trilogy. 🙂

Thats not how T2 ended though.

Skynet was erased as was the original Judgement Day. Perhaps Any Judgement Day.

Then this happens:

But Terminator: Dark Fate and Legion cannot happen - because of the T-800 that was sent to 1984.

Wow - a $120,000,000 loss! 😄

Bye-bye shitty feminist Terminator reboot-trilogy. 🙂

Are incel and incel-types again pretending that a film is failing because of female characters, "SJW" whatever nonsense claims and not because the franchise has been going downhill for some time now and the film is simply shit in writing and directing? Awww.

IMO, they're cashing in too early, China and the rest of Asia loves certain trash films (see: Fast and Furious multi-billion dollar franchise), China alone could lift this out of the red.

LOL!!!

A film having a majority of the leads being female doesn't automatically make it feminist or SJW.

You need to add a whole bunch of stupidity on top of who you cast. Like they did with Ghostbusters.

Terminator was always going to have problems. Trotting out Arnie, Furlong and Linda Hamilton for nostalgia can only do so much to help a franchise that's been largely creatively bankrupt for at least the last two movies before it.

Seriously went down hill after T2

What am I supposed to be seeing in that Alternate ending? That the Old Sarah Connor is living a peaceful life and isnt still fighting Terminators? Well lucky for Dark Fate it was never included in the film.

Judgement Day was averted by the end of T2. Or at least delayed to the point that theres no way Kyle would be sent back in time.

Yeah and was kind of retarded to spend $180million on a dying franchise.

Look at Shazam, look at Joker, look at T1! No excuse to go above $100mill. But if I were in charge I would have capped them at like $60mill. I mean heck look what The Sarah Connor Chronicles pulled of on a tv budget.

Jumped the shark, you might say.

I'm told I was literally on the edge of my seat for the entire movie, when I got taken there as a teen.

Absolutely. Tell the fragile masculinity ranters that though. The ones who create multiple accounts to down-vote certain films that they've not even seen yet (eg: Captain Marvel).

Yep but they couldnt do that on the new RT system of Verified votes only.

(Doesnt work for tv shows though as its impossible to verify whose seen a show).

I would, but apparently me thinking Captain Marvel wasn't great, or that TLJ was kinda shit, puts me in that group too.

TBH, I'm starting to think words like "incel" are just here to replace "nerd" because apparently that word isn't derogatory anymore.

Should have made a better movie.

Was not aware RT changed things. Good.

I remember my ex said I didn't like the new Ghostbusters cause it was women and I said no I just didn't like it. I didn't laugh through most of it and I didn't like the characters, I felt like there was next to no chemistry between them like the original group.

It's fine not thinking either of those movies are good, people have different tastes. It's a certain mentality and view that goes with it.

I've not seen Dark Fate yet, it hasn't looked good since the previews, so I'm waiting to watch it at home. I doubt I'll like it, but I'm not screaming "SJW!" in the meantime.

Reboot GB was trash, poorly written, directed and acted. It happens.
