Lol...NYC subway tiles look like Confederate flags, complainers say. So officials are taking action.
Tiles haven't been in place that long so it makes sen--oh, nearly 100 years? Oic.
They should check out this guy...
Had a laugh at the opening line of this uk insurance ad.
If you're gonna whine about removing statues at least remember your own history Nancy:
Nancy Pelosi really should have looked into her family history on confederate statues
"In 1948, Pelosi’s father Thomas D’Alesandro Jr. spoke at a ceremony honoring confederate generals Robert E. Lee and Thomas “Stonewall” Jackson with a monument. D’Alesandro was the mayor of Baltimore at the time, and in attendance was then-Governor William Preston Lane Jr., showing how uncontroversial the act was. "
Sorry Nance, time to denounce daddy or resign.

Anyone know if this story about Texas authorizing deadly force against vandals of monuments is legit...

Well it IS Texas, but I can't believe it is real.
If it is then someone will die, because it is inevitable some dipstick will think they have the right to vandalize some shit over their fee fee's being hurt, and then some other person will see it and shoot first and ask questions never.

A theater in Memphis that shows "Gone With the Wind" every summer will not be showing it anymore. Quick: who wants to guess why?
Although saying that, the bit where the town is burning down is pretty cool, they actually did just build and then burn down a full-size town set just for that scene.

So when is Amistad banned from being sold on DVD? Oh Django Unchained..we hardly knew ye.
12 years a slave? Gone...with the wind 😉
Take comfort though, Mary Poppins might be banned because of that awful awful accent Dick Van Dyke uses, it is disrespectful to real Cockneys. Also her claims that a spoon full of sugar helps medicine go down are not scientifically accurate.

http://nypost.com/2017/08/19/man-stabbed-after-haircut-gets-him-mistaken-for-a-neo-nazi/This is the type of stupidity that emerges when you look only to the negative connotations of an image, symbol, etc. The dude was attacked because of a haircut. The guy is obviously thinking of changing his image now so this doesn't happen again. It is ridiculous that this man has to change himself because there are morons who can't look beyond the negative a symbol is or has been associated with.

That story about the guy who claimed he was stabbed for having a Neo Nazi haircut was bunk. He admitted that he made the story up after accidentally stabbing himself and has been arrested for lying to officers.https://amp.theguardian.com/us-news/2017/aug/28/neo-nazi-stabbing-fake-colorado-joshua-witt
