I diagree. Even with the videod attacks being available for all too see and hear the dialoge involved, there were a lot of people hesitant to lable it as a hate crime. We've reached a point where many consider it justified for a minority to attack a white person.

I'm in no way to to suggest or support the notion that it's particularly hard to exist in America just because you're white. I'm suggesting that it's hard for ANYONE to exist ANYWHERE regardless of the color of their skin because the universe is an unfair place. There are black people who're born good looking, intelligent, and rich and there are white people who're born ugly, dumb, and poor... and vice versa. The point is that all races including white people have it hard in general because life is tough so people need to stop automatically pointing to the lightest skinned person in the room as the source of all their problems.

I agree with him. They level we are taking the hurt no one's feelings policy is getting ridiculous. If you are offended by a statue then you have some deep seated issues you need to work out. They should only serve as reminders of our history for better or worse.

Now if the statue or image says "all (insert group of choice) are sub human, inferior, and must be killed" then I could definitely see the offense. Take that down.

Imagine being an employer and someone comes and gives you a slip that shows they have a degree from these kinds of schools lol. I live in Florida. Why do I care about a statue in Arizona?? Why do any of you care about a statue from a city/state that you are not even part of?? This is Federalism. Let the state and local governments handle the Confederate statue thing.

I'm not sure what they plan on doing with the Lee statue but they shouldn't destroy it. Give it to museum or something. Anyone know what is going to become of it?

-Washington and Jefferson statues also being targeted(Yep, some in my city and state)
-Christopher Columbus, targeted
-A mascot that is a horse who has the same name as Robert E Lee's being called racist
-The solar eclipse being called racist
-Asian american announcer pulled from calling a game cuz his name is Robert Lee

This is just the start. Also dude, you live in Florida. This shit has the potential to get especially disturbing in a wacky place like Florida lol, no offense to your state.
