Yeah, they do. The reason may not be sensible or even make any sort of sense, but there's still a reason.Look, someone doesn't bring 20 weapons into a hotel room and then murder 58 people without some reason behind. Granted, it could have been some insane reasoning like his dog told him to do it, because someone smirked at his MAGA hat, because he thinks LV is the center of moral corruption, because god, because no god etc. etc. etc. But this guy had a reason or reasons, that I'm sure of.
edit: ^ Raisin beat me to it
Sorry I Disagree, killing people is an excuse, not a reason.
"I killed someone cause 'reasons"
Not buying it.

Dude. it's a reason for him and an excuse for you. it's a justification based on an individual's SUBJECTIVE view. your reason will not be the same as another's.

David Berkowitz killed people because his dog told him to do it. Sure it's insane, as he is insane, but it's a reason nonetheless.

Yeah, not even half the decibels is "slightly" reduced 😮YouTube video

This is true, and I did not hear about it on the blaze, but it was another gun video where they did a decibel test. There was not a huge amount of reduction.

People can have an excuse for their actions, not based in reason. He can have an excuse for why he did this, without actually having a reason. An excuse refers to an explanation put forward to justify or defend a fault. He had an excuse for doing what he did, not a reason.

that is insinuating he doesn't believe in his reason bro.
that's insinuating he isn't crazy but is being a liar.
if you truly believe in something then it is a reason; no matter how crazy it is

And if we add a silencer to a tank! The point was: that silencers can and do suppress muzzle sound more than "slightly", as shown in that video by that Welshman. But hey, you play FPS so you know stuff.
My guess on his motives are that he was in a lot of debt because of his gambling habits. Probably lost all of his money and then some, maybe owed money to some bad people. Then maybe kinda fell into a descent of anger and blamed Vegas itself for his problems, and decided to go and kill as many people in Vegas as he could before killing himself. Just my guess, though.

I like this theory. people can reach this point but it takes a real piece of crap to do this to random people.
