After Superman reacts to him.

I guess this means that Superman is Zoom level? Well, Zoom thinks so:

Superman didn't "react".

He anticipated Zoom trajectory which was evn easier considering Zoom literally moved near Supes and the only thing he had to do was to rise his arm.

You should understand the context before talking.

I guess you know more than Zoom, and henceforth the writer, about the scene. Right?

Zoom was moving at Nowhere near the speed when he fought the flash. Superman was a statue. Nice cherry picking. Put up the scan where Zoom blitzed the hell out of superman.

Lol.

So.....you and I both agree that characters don't always travel/fight at 100% in every appearance?

So when Thanos is shown with the Runner, with the Fallen One...Sure, they CAN travel at lightspeed (and faster).

Doesn't mean they're travelling at that speed in every encounter, right?

Let's be consistent.

Thank you 👆

PS: Zoom specifically says Superman's speed rivals his own. Guess you ignored that part.

Edited, because I thought Thawne hadn't blitzed Superman...

Also interesting - Superman 'easily' negates Zoom's force, with counter force of his own:

And Thawne never blitzed Superman (to my knowledge). Read up on things before you comment.

Of course, am happy to be corrected. [/B]

If superman was Zooms rival in speed, how come he was a statue when Zoom fought flash?? They were only moving at lightspeed. WW said that she was faster than superman reflex wise and the WHOLE lot of superman fans cried hyperbole. Hulk was said to hit with whatever force dealing with something and you all cried. Superman himself said he could not outrace light and you all cried. But let a statement for superman arise and it's an auto fact even though he was a statue right?

Edit: also, are you sure you're not quoting DR LIGHT when he said he wasn't FTL?

Now you see the problem? You are so caught up on superman that your mind blocks out anything that you don't like or don't want to hear. I guess superman and his fans do indeed have mental blocks in place.

Lol, you subsequently clarified and showed you actually made the very mistake I thought you'd make. I just didn't think you'd be that stupid to do so.

One is Hunter Zolomon.

One is Eobard Thawne.

Two different characters.

Zolomon fought Flash and left Superman at a standstill.

Thawne did not.

Zolomon has the whoooolllleee weeiiirddd wwaaayy offff talllkkkiiinnnggg.

Thawne does not.

But it's OK, your hate obviously blinds you.

I challenge you or any other superman fan to show superman flying just one light year in atleast a day.

The Subject is superman being a statue while flash is moving and fighting at lightspeed. Stick to the subject. He was a statue and got blitzed. End.

But not by this Zoom.

The Zoom who, and I repeat, said that Superman's speed rivals his own.

You used it as 'proof' that there was a contradiction, did you not?

Yes/No?

Simple question, really.

If yes...then that 'contradiction' is easily explained, by your lack of knowledge.

Which is the main subject here.

The subject is what happened to superman when a lightspeed fight took place. I don't care if it's batman and robin fighting at lightspeed, superman could NOT compete.

Sure, pal.

You dare replying again after making such a stupid claim. Hilarious. 😂

I guess that if Usain Bolt runs near me at full speed and that I rise my arm so he plant himself into it that makes me as fast as him according to your "logic", right ?

Hilarious, really. 😂

8 minutes and 20 seconds
Sunlight travels at the speed of light. Photons emitted from the surface of the Sun need to travel across the vacuum of space to reach our eyes. The short answer is that it takes sunlight an average of 8 minutes and 20 seconds to travel from the Sun to the Earth.

How long did it take Superman to take Wonder Woman to the sun?

Did she just not put up a fight for eight minutes?

Say no more.

Well..
Rebirth Superman [i.e. post-Crisis + New 52 merged] is so ridiculous, that he is able to run through time:

https://static.comicvine.com/uploads/original/11133/111332122/6156400-0253199085-Actio.jpg

All the treadmill does is calibrate precision, breaking the time-stream is all him:

So, yeah. The only limit to his speed is....well, Flash. There's no other point of reference that he hasn't already surpassed.

Post Crisis Superman [i.e. half of Rebirth Supes] by himself was insane, too.

As an example, Flash is moving at such an insane speed that it looks like he’s actually warping reality – he recreates the town Superman is in to look like Krypton, not only the clothes, but entire buildings and landscapes (imagine that besides building all of those – he actually has to get all the materials from other locations around the world, design etc.).
Superman tracks him down [Flash can't stop] and proceeds to match his speed and catch him on foot.

Even 90s Superman was so 'speeded up' that in a suspended fraction of a nanosecond he can just casually have a conversation:

http://s738.photobucket.com/user/PhilosophiaKMC/media/NanosecondInteraction2.jpg.html?hotlinkfix=1516479302483

For something funny, he's live in two cities simultaneously:
http://i738.photobucket.com/albums/xx28/PhilosophiaKMC/LiveTwoCities.jpg

Or has changed into normal clothes and moved behind Lois & Jimmy before the image of his departure has faded from their view [lol]:
http://photobucket.com/gallery/http://s738.photobucket.com/user/PhilosophiaKMC/media/imagefading.jpg.html?hotlinkfix=1516481549908

He has vibrated intangible:

Invisible:
http://photobucket.com/gallery/http://s738.photobucket.com/user/PhilosophiaKMC/media/vibratesinvisible.jpg.html?hotlinkfix=1516481152752

He has outraced Impulse [who is much, much faster than light] casually:

http://photobucket.com/gallery/http://s738.photobucket.com/user/PhilosophiaKMC/media/SupesImpulseRace3.jpg.html?hotlinkfix=1516480954314

He's made Jay Garrick and Power Girl look like statues:

http://i1093.photobucket.com/albums/i436/KMCPhilosophia/clarkfasterjay2.jpg?hotlinkfix=1516478574541

Has had Reverse Flash say his speed rivals his own:
http://i1093.photobucket.com/albums/i436/KMCPhilosophia/supeszoom4.jpg?hotlinkfix=1516480867637
[this is literally Eobard right after Flash Rebirth, the same one who was blitzing the Flash family like crazy]

Wally outruns Superman's heat vision [i.e. goes faster than light], but Superman accelerates and catches up to him:

http://s738.photobucket.com/user/PhilosophiaKMC/media/supeswallyrace6.jpg.html?hotlinkfix=1516481951724

Matches Flash's perceptions, as time stands still around them and they literally have pages of conversation [this is how Superman would see every forum fight]:

For reference, this is Barry explaining his perception the same issue:

Looney tunes stuff, like vibrating himself to match an entire planet's frequency, then reversing it to send it away from our reality:

http://photobucket.com/gallery/user/PhilosophiaKMC/media/cGF0aDovdmlicmF0aW9uZ2hvc3RlYXJ0aDEuanBn/?ref=&hotlinkfix=1516481484459

He doesn't just BFR you off the planet, he BFR's the planet itself!

As for the other half, New 52 Superman, he does stuff like read every medical book ever published [......] in a short time:
http://i.imgur.com/lRZr4.jpg
http://i.imgur.com/551Dc4Y.jpg

...which is silver age ridiculousness, but whatevs.

He can think and process information so fast, it would take supercomputers years to do the same:

That right there is the problem with people who dislike Superman so man. They don't even know what character they are even using...
They are so blinded by their hate that they don't even want to admit they use a wrong character LMAO

J'onn, in the same series and under the same writer where he insta scans every human on Earth to find a very specific piece of information, was unable to locate Supermans mind when he assumed his Clark Kent identity. It was explained as subconscious mental blocks.

It makes sense for a character with a dual identity to be capable of protecting that secret from rogue telepathy.

Superman has probably the best telepathic resistance of any non-telepath, period.

To further add to your examples:

Superman’s consciousness is so strong it sends J’onn on the ground when he tries to mindprobe.

He resists Hammond’s telepathy when every other super hero could not (including Martian Manhunter) - literally the best telepathic resistance on the planet; Gets close to Hammon’s mind-control machine as the hold becomes stronger, and he still resists it:
